Sonia Sotomayor STEP DOWN? Millions off taxpayers

Sonia Sotomayor has made $3.7 million of taxpayer dollars off of her taxpayer funded staff prodding public libraries and colleges to buy her books. It's highly illegal for members of Congress to do such a thing, but the Supreme Court is expected to reign in its own members for ethics violations. It's a perfect sham. As the most prolific traveler of the SC Justices she repeatedly shows up at public libraries or as a guest lecturer at public colleges, her staff pushes and prods them to buy hundreds to thousands of of her books before her arrival every time. Rinse repeat, now she's gotten $3.7 million to show for it. She also hasn't recused herself from book publishing cases she should have. This article is a basic primer on the matter:

I was going to make a thread about this. Sotomayor is corrupt and she's abusing her office for ideological ends.

She literally said she was going to use the bench to make Conservative's lives hell.

She needs to step down. One of the most crooked justices in American history.

It's a great money raking enterprise she's opened up, through taxpayer dollars. Go do a guest lecture, her staff tells the public college or public library they need to buy hundreds or thousands of copies of her books every time. Realize she just made some bank, decides to do it over and over. It isn't coincidence she's the Justice that has traveled the most, all to coerce public colleges and libraries to buy her books. While illegal for Congressmen to have their staff do these things it isn't illegal for Justices, but it definitely has ethics questions.

It definitely taints the purity liberals hold Sotomayor up with.

The dems know they cant run Biden next election for obvious reasons. That leaves them with Kamala looming over their head. Of course she is poison and wont win anything either but they have to do something with her.

Basically pretty much anything they offer her would be a step down. maybe not financially but image wise which is her driving thing.

The plan is that sotomayor will step down and kamala will get the supreme court gig. it has a lot of respect and prestige.

This will free the dems to run an actual candidate, not that any of them are worth a damn but still even a chimpanzee of a unicycle is better than what they currently have.
