They don't succeed because of a lack of role models.

Ah yes the “intellectual” left where there are 500 genders, men are women, math is racist, science is racist, statistics are racist & so on.
The only thing leftists lack more than self awareness, is the ability to control themselves around children.

If you've been insulted by us, it is guaranteed you were doing it first or otherwise childishly misbehaving.
Back off, Warchild.

Also, what would Wincel do if his dad's car got a flat? Probably call his dad up crying, and screeching, "WHAT SHOULD I DO???"
Bodhy would call for his insurance to take him to discount tire, which would probably take an hr, then a few hrs while they fix it.
What would a tradie do? Change it themselves in 5-10 minutes.

Such a fake POS. No wonder he has to continually lie about his life. It's the only way he can live with himself being such a failure.

Lots of academics are intelligent but delusional because they’ve never held a proper job beside. This is why they think, that after the revolution, they’d either continue in their academic role or become a commissar or some chit. They don’t realise that - as members of the intelligentsia - their best case scenario is being sent to work in a cobalt mine and the most likely is they’d beaten to death in a field somewhere because the Red Guard won’t want to waste bullets on them.
The other reason is the leftist march through the institution of education - started in the 60s - is more or less complete by now. Therefore, it’s benefitted their careers to either be leftists or publicly pretend to be.
There are plenty of intellectuals on the right, OP, but you wouldn’t call them such as they occupy roles such as in banking, CEOs etc. Though these days even many of these need to publicly pretend to be at least sympathetic to leftist causes since the likes of BlackRock strong-arm them into it via ESG scores etc. The point is it creates an illusion of support.

And you really believe that the Soviets allowed critical thinking? Especially under Stalin?

Comrade 1: Ok, this is what the State is ordering us to do.
Wincel : Actually, I am not going to do that as I don't think that's a good idea and I am way smarter than you or the Sta... wait why are you putting me on the bus going to the gulag?

I love how this guy owns Ben Shapiro right here, and all he does is retreat into the CIA's blame Stalin for WW2 narrative.
It is an uncomfortable fact that Americans have tried to erase for 80 years that Joseph Stalin saved Europe and possibly the entire world. And he entered the pact for peace, and he first sought peace with the capitalist West, who had attacked the Bolsheviks with the Whites btw, but they snubbed him.
