Teachers have a lot of this built in to their position. It isn't hard to find examples of teachers/districts actively supporting keeping secrets from parents.

The university system became infected with woke ideology [chosen gender identity, 99 flavors of human sexuality, equity, critical race theory, etc.] and it seems like that became dogma in liberal education.

Then teachers educated by that system entered the public schools to teach our children. They spew their mental virus out on to the children and actively insert themselves between children and parents.

If parents try to fight back against the madness they can face legal action in some states up to having their child removed by CPS.

As for the movie I haven’t seen it, so I don’t know. If the “call to action” at the end is buying more tickets then that’s a huge red flag and shady as hell though.
