Do you drink coffee?

Does it help you stay alert/awake and functioning throughout the day?

If you’re a coffee drinker what happens if you don’t have any?

Would you recommend daily coffees for a non coffeecel for work/concentration improvements?

Edit : thinking of taking the coffee pill

If I’m somewhere and it’s out in the open, why not. But I don’t make it at home or buy it elsewhere.

I do caffeine/l-theanine capsules, and kratom

i used to every single day but lately i've toned it back. pleasantly surprised to have lowered my tolerance.

on the days I need it i just get a small black roast and sip on it. used to get an XL and pound it asap.

I drink decaf coffee most days. I like having hot drinks in the morning so when I went caffeine free years ago I found really good decaf coffee beans.

It will give you more energy, but just be aware that it can be hard to stop it once you start.

I drink it because i enjoy the flavors and for me the clean energy I get.

Usually grind fresh beans up and make coffee daily, or if I’m being gross I’ll reheat some the next day. No more than that though, otherwise the oils just burn off and you’re left with sadness water.

I can’t do caffeine pills. It’s too much too fast, you don’t enjoy any flavors, and for me a 200mg pill will make me feel crappy, but I can sip on a cup of coffee that’s around 140mg of caffeine for a few hours and get no negative sides.

Cold Brew is an alternative, but that’s usually way more potent than regular coffee. I don’t really enjoy how much caffeine that has.

Yeah, but I don't drink it as much these days.

Black is how I usually drink mine, or I get an iced Americano.

I don’t know a single person that doesn’t drink it so I feel like I’m missing out on the supposed “energy” everyone else has on a daily basis that I’m apparently not getting, is coffee a scam?!

I drink coffee most days. To me it is more of my morning ritual and not so much about the energy boost. I sometimes do decaf and enjoy it just as much. For me it's the getting up, having the warm cup of coffee while reading and starting my day. I drink it black

for not a coffee drinker, I would say you don't need it. Effect from coffee is kind of self-feeding, the more you drink it the less you able to get alert on your own. Despite beliefs of many, nothing happens if we stop drinking coffee. A day or two of re-adjustment and you will be fine without coffee.

Yes I drink loads of black coffee and it helps me stay awake and function through the day. If I don't have any I literally cannot function, I have drank coffee every single day for at least 5 years.
Negatives:
*I need it now
* breath smells like ****
* Even though I fall asleep easy and sleep through the night, I believe its negatively affecting my quality of sleep.
*tolerance - find myself needing more and more
Positives:
*I absolutely love the taste and smell and geek out over nuanced taste differences between beans.
* I'm 9-5 office-cell and drinking coffee makes it very bearable
* It covers up lack of sleep or hang overs and allows me to function

Overall I'm so addicted that at this point I would only recommend it to someone with very good self control. If you have an addictive personality then its another addiction you should avoid.

i enjoy black coffee while fasting as I do OMAD.

honestly, coffee coupled with the fasting has given me a lot more energy. eating all the time would make me sluggish.

Straight black old school Navy coffee in a dirty mug first thing in the morning, Matter of fact I drink a full pot by myself before starting the day.

I am in trouble headache wise if i dont get at least 3 cups.

Realistically though there is very little chance that i wont be able to have 3 cups daily minimum. Not like I am out of nowhere going to be in some survival situation,

Walked past a caramel mocha mix in the shop just then, I caved and bought it. I’m gonna make it tomorrow morning and become a coffeecel, I’m gonna have it iced though, I am not going to be a hotwatercel
