It isn't necessary but you said you have never heard a Taylor Swift song ever (from start to finish) and she has been a major pop hit since the 2000s meaning you have probably never been in a bar or club or anywhere serving alcohol and music. Shake it Off is one of her worst songs (imo) yet it still ended up being a major hit, but is isn't what Taylor Swift is known for. She has much more bigger fish on her plate than "Shake it off". Despite being one her sub par songs, it still was a number 1 hit.

Like her music or not there is no denial she is a juggernaut. The only test she hasn't quite accomplished is the test of time where will her music still be played 20-30 years from now. A lot of her earlier country music is already considered classics.
