I will also say , and this is just based on personal experience, that the man being the big earner and the woman being stay at home mom does not automatically equal respect. I grew up in the south so that’s a very common arrangement, and so many of these wives were bitches that had their man on a leash despite him providing everything. They dictated what he could spend money on, when he could see friends, where they went on trips, etc. again, small sample size of just personal experiences but imo you need to also bring value outside of your paycheck

There is truth to the “beta bux” thing IF the only trait you have going for you is bringing in $$$. But if you are assertive in other ways, good personality, interesting, fit, etc then that will go even further to gaining and maintaining respect.

Basically, be more than your paycheck. That’s been my approach anyways lol
Yeah for sure. Money wont automatically give you respect or make the marriage work. Its a good card to have though.

Things are much more complicated than before tho, an attractive woman has gigarich guys on her DMs offering her ****, trips, bags, whatever, so you having money will hardly make her respect you, just the money itself wont do it. Which brings me to the same point, take her money out of the equation and look for good wholesome wifely traits, a woman that understand what marriage is and should be about. In order to attract that, you should also have equally good traits tho, being a good earner and provider being just one of them.

Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

Agree with you here.

I would want her to have the drive and intelligence to be a high earner, but care more about family and choose to put her efforts there.

If you don't allow her to have a sloot IG you won't have that problem brah. Although I think you've already made your own stance on that clear and it's harsher than mine lol.

What about farm work? I hear the wife (and kids) usually help out a lot and do lots of chit on farms.

Imagine a woman that stays at home, grows her own food and cooks you unprocessed meals everyday , takes care of your 5 children and takes them out to play and raises them properly (not let them get addicted to iPad and tiktok videos), has skills and enroles your kids in activities which she can help your children with and she is highly family oriented. I could go on

But nah, a 6 figure woman is better than that, lmao
My experience with those high earning career women is that they are extremely picky and difficult to deal with lol

I think people are too focused on the initial "what do I need to do to survive," versus the next-level-up which is "what do I need to do to have the life I want." If your view is stuck on the former for this topic, then this indicates your income is sub-optimal AND there's actually logical reasons why the wife shouldn't work (example being her income would be less than costs of daycare). If your view is on the latter, you'll want her to work to make other family members' lives, your kids' lives, and even your own lives, that much more secure and enjoyable.

That was true historically. Less true today. Most of the farming now is corporate, although, there are still quite a few family farms out there. Growing up for me, my mom mostly ran the household (cooking, cleaning, shopping, etc) and my dad ran the farm. We all had chores from a young age, and then worked part time every summer irrigating. I helped a lot with cows during the winter, but mostly just on Sunday when the hired hands had the day off, and in the spring during calving season. My mom pitched in as needed, but I don't think I ever saw her help with cows. She drove a truck every once in a while, during spud harvest, but mostly was in charge of lunches/dinners/snacks and watching younger kids. My parents get along great but I think part of it was they both recognized it was better for the marriage not to work together. The smaller the operation the more likely it is for a farm to be a family effort. My dad worked with my grandpa, and they had a medium sized operation so we had a bit of family involvement, but not as much as some.

Feel like I should clarify what I’d expect in a wife (based off of what my ex was)

She3
-made $170k base + 20% bonus’s + $20 derive bonus (so around $220,000 totally)
-had a degree
-knew and liked me when i was only I. $60k and still enjoyed my company

Overall is she made $100k+ and was normal I’d like her regal regardless of other factors (within reason)

WHo cares how much a girl makes, most girls that make money either date men that make around the same amount or more than them. Plus girls that make more money are usually undateable & are masculine.

Under 70k is now classified as low income in LA, 80k in OC, and 105k in SF - for a single person. Location matters.

Thats consumerism tho, and wont bring you happiness by itself. Your life, your kids life, your womans life, should be much more enjoyable by her staying at home with her kids, to take care of the home and the children's needs (as opposed to leaving that responsibility to somebody that doesnt give a **** about your kids). That way she is less stressed as she isnt being a wageslave to Mr. Rich. You gonna come home at night, your kids well fed, your woman rested and with the home set for you, her being less stressed means shes gonna be generally happier and more welcoming, you will be extremely benefitted for this (as opposed to her being the breadwinner or an important financial contributor where she will be tired, stressed, less willing to look after your needs etc).

Its simply a happier life IMO. Thats the way it was done back when marriage was the best and worked the best. Two clear roles, yes, following our biological genders. If you want to trade that off just so you can have the extra guest's room, the 2024 SUV, or whatever, then IMO, you are shooting yourself in the foot. Im not saying it cant work, im just saying that a woman's income shouldnt be your priority or a must, as that comes with a whole different set of problems that can easily outweigh the money she makes.

A high income woman will most likely be:

-More tired
-More stressed
-Less fit
-More worn out looking
-Less time for your needs, your kids needs or your home's needs
-More masculine
-Be a bigger spender or bad with her money
-Be more demanding of you (good luck turning on the baseball game and trying to chill with a beer when she has to work an extra shift or has to run to the office for whatever)

And so on. IMO that isnt worth it, be it for 100k or 500k.

So you were the woman in that relationship then?
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

It's wrong to want to date women who make over 100k period. Money is irrelevant but women think it's important so dating one that makes a lot is a headache. Better to date a broke girl who will be humble.

We all gotta make our several million or more to retire mang. That's the way of life. If you want early retirement for both yourself and your wife, the wife working will help afford both her own and your own retirement. It's not all shallow consumerism. I mentioned in the post you quoted, "a moresecure and enjoyable life." Joy can come from security and comfort, let alone being a consumer.

sloots making that much money are often fuked in the head srs.

career-oriented sloots -> often miserable, stressed, thinks she needs to be a "man"
dating dynamics -> most sloots look down on their man if he makes less than them
not traditional -> these sloots think that because they're making the bread that you have to cook, clean, and suck cock because the gender role is reversed

Its a bit delusional though. Attractive wholesome high income woman with great wife traits, that will be stress free and will be submissive despite her having a high income full time job and its responsibilities, both of you in love despite carrying such huge weights on your shoulders and outside influences (like bosses coworkers etc), kids well fed and taken care of by the strangers you hire to do so, everyone happy and retired by 50, etc.

You want to fly way too close to the sun. Similar to those overweight single moms hoping they gonna find a loyal rich husband that is also decently attractive. I mean you can dream about it sure, but good luck is all imma say. Best scenario would be the man makes high income enough for the family to live a luxurious life, but if that isnt possible, i say its much better to have a good/decent life instead doing it the traditional way rather than live a luxurious modern marriage (that most likely wont work the way you think it would)

I mean, there is a definite upside to dating a woman who makes good money already when you meet her. Makes it hard for her to screw you over financially too badly down the road. Might even incentivize them to try harder to make things work.

Cot damn you guys write too many fukking paragraphs, who reads all this chit?

Find a woman in a tech related career because she will most likely be conscientious and have good values. Dual income household = earlier retirement, financial freedom, lower stress about money.

If you're a valuable guy she won't care if you pull in a bit less. Really that simple.

Stay at home moms = idle hands are the devil's playthings. Good luck with that.

My thoughts align with Alpha Male Strategies. You must find a woman earning a good pay if you want a relationship with her, it's a huge green flag. You want someone who wants to lift you up and better yourself, and vice versa, together you should make a team of winners and moggers. Men dating broke ass women just to feel superior have paper thin ego's and are insecure af

Can confirm. Every female I've known in senior position has been a 'Ms' and batchit insane.

Women need some alpha dink and likely also kids to not go off the deep end.

If you need your woman to “lift you up” and motivate you to work hard, then don’t get married pls.

That all sounds like cope from broke/mediocre earning men that just want their woman to take weight from their shoulders financially. Good luck with that dynamic

no one is saying to date a broke woman with nothing going for her. basically what we're all saying is to not make money a motivator for what you are looking for. yes she should have interests/hobbies outside of work and not be a brick wall. it's not really about men wanting to feel superior more so than it is due to hypergamy, the woman wanting to feel secure and having somebody to rely upon rather than her having to be that person.

maybe start off a business together, or, if she is stay at home, she can start a business with whatever she wants and then you can both grow it over time. rather than her working at some chitty admin job at the office for 40K a year.

No? She made a lot and I wasn’t making more (due to her being older and more established in her career while I was entry level).

She would let me stay at her town house in the most expensive suburb in one of the most expensive cities in the world. She’d buy my food, buy me new clothes, took me to football matches with seats right near field etc; she helped get me promoted to a new job at our workplace.

She needed it cause she was quite old (I’m 25, she’s 41/ 23 and 39 when we first met).

I’ve only been on 2 dates since she broke up with me and neither made anything close to what she made (1 girl was a part time smoothie shop worker and the other was a customer service worker at an investment firm on $65k ish.

If just prefer someone who’s making at least $100-$130k and established in their career due to living in a major metro city that if you get dumped you may end up homeless.

That all sounds like cope from broke/mediocre earning men that just want their woman to take weight from their shoulders financially. Good luck with that dynamic
A good relationship is a good team, sounds like you date broke, low IQ women who do nothing but drag you down to their level and secretly (or not so secretly) hate any success you achieve. That's toxic, a good woman will lift you up and enjoy your success while making her own

The man should earn the same or more than the woman. If she's earning a lot more than you, you were not focused on your purpose and put her or other things first, so you fked up at being a man. Be a high quality, high earning man and you will attract the same type of women. If you settle for some low inhibition part time worker for a partner you just have low standards tbh
