What is it that you feel the need to hide, and why do you feel a need to hide it?

Because for you, it never was an honest discussion.

Just like this thread, there is an underlying reason why you decided to post it in R&P. Because for you, it is both political and religious at the same time.
I asked which sub you think would be more appropriate.

You offered no suggestions

The same reason he won’t answer my question about headaches in the study, and completely ignored my point about the cognition tests in the study.

It doesn’t help his narrative, and that’s all he cares about.

With no alternate suggestions, does it not seems R&P is a suitable sub given the number of covid threads here?

The details are all in the paper tho. You don't want to read it, which is of course fine

To me, It's odd to want to discuss something you haven't read.

Perhaps you don't even really have an issue with the study. Perhaps the issue is that it was me who posted the study?

It was answered the first time. You didn't like it then, either.

But, all's intellectual and honest when done to support the narrative by proxy

Asked and answered.

While false dichotomies, orders, double barreled questions, and story telling may be considered intellectual and honest by some, I try my best to not use such tactics.

Looks like long covid affects even younger people tho.

I have a problem with a study that conducts post infection cognition tests and uses them as evidence of impact from Covid when they have not administered the same test prior to infection to compare it against. But since you refuse to answer the questions(which, or course, we all know why you won’t), maybe you’ll answer this one. What do you think the cognition test results indicate? Not asking for specifics from the “study”, just want to get your thoughts on that aspect of it.

Good study, my only issue is that the average age was 54 but other than that, the list of long symptoms is ridiculous!
i have been told that tinnitus alone can drive a person nuts!

As stated many, many, many times over the years, I mistakenly referred to a proportion as a percentage. I corrected my mistake and apologized.

Both formats were much lower than 1.0.

It seems you found that to be a grievous and unforgivable mistake. You have every right to your opinion.

There was pretty large standard deviation too, so pretty good representation across age. More informative than the studies that only looked at seniors, imo.

Tinnitus can be debilitating!

As explained in the paper, they reviewed medical records of everyone enrolled in the study.

Sure there are limitations, but to suggest the only way to know long covid is real is for a large cohort of people to have been thoroughly worked up on the measures associated with long covid, prior to covid, seems an overly conservative requirement, imo.

Proving nefarious intention can be challenging following correction and apology.

But, hostile attribution can be difficult to overcome, so I get it.
