just got my lightbulb replaced in my kitchen at no cost (ded fkn Srs)

when I have a big enough deposit I’ll spend it and buy a big ass warehouse and live in it

But rent is like 15% of my salary, it’s dirt cheap and I get a lot of benefits.

Right now a lot of people in Canada aren't even paying down their mortgage balance. It's all going to interest. So it's rent to a bank instead of a landlord and you still have taxes and maintenance on top.
