Went to my mom's today and she tried to show me a video of Trump

She's a Trump supporter and very religious, tried to show me that video of him talking about God. Went like this:

"You can't forget about the man upstairs. He needs to help our country. A friend of mine told me there's no one more famous than you. I said that's not true, Jesus is."

I raged inside.

Look here:
- This charade was just him trying to say only person more famous than him is Jesus.
- His sole purpose of mentioning God was complimenting himself.
- Seen several versions of himself saying this. He's beingel more careful in how he says it.

Mentioning your support of God is a good deed no matter what but good deeds are not recognized when the heart's intent is full of pride.

He's now trying to mask his pride with humility. It makes me sick to see people fall for it.
