So I swapped my paragon board to fit with the bone spear build at 66. WAY better essence handling and I’m two shotting most mobs. I’m still squishy af and I’ll most likely get rid of my skeletons too since they get two shot but I think I can do torment dungeons now.

The tier you should be doing is your level -51. Make sure you have gear upgraded, socketed and gemmed appropriately, and you have optimal rolls. It makes a big difference.

Some classes are squishy and you need to kite quite a bit. Lots of explosions can one shot you, so keep moving. This is why I had issues on my barb doing capstone; lack of mobility. One shot it on my Necro and had one death on my rogue because I didn't dodge soon enough and had those exploding dudes kill me.

I still believe that the dodge on your boots makes a huge difference. Speed for one second sucks. Two dodges or CD on attack are the best, IMO. I dodge out of mobs almost nonstop to prevent from being hit by explosions or those massive overhead hits.

I noticed in D4 that I need CDs a lot, so I make sure that CD is on as many pieces ot gear as possible. Legs, chest, and helm should be defense stats. Jewelry and gloves are damage. These stats low roll on the wrong pieces. Speed is no longer a thing in D4 like it was in D3, so take your time and wait for CDs if you have to.

Legs can roll a skill, which is decent. For example, I like corpse explosion on legs, but only if it rolled all defense otherwise.

I'm decked out pretty well and find tier 40 gets super tough. Blizzard nerfed loot so no more getting a lot of power level 800+ until level 80-85, so yes, tier 30 is going to be rough unless you were really lucky.

Level 80 on the TB rogue currently, usually run Tier 35-40 will ease. Can do higher, done a couple 47s. My guy is already pretty decked out for his level. Started a druid last night and got rushed to 50. Hopefully will find that Tempest Roar helm so I can make a werenado. If not I prolly will play Pulverize.


My best friend hit 100 but he's noob as fuk. Did a 47 blind burrows last night and I was doing it better, he kept dying lol. He's a nec

Pulverize is seriously boring and low IQ. Its strong as hell, but I almost fell asleep playing it. I went with a landslide build for leveling because it more interesting to play.

Having beaten the campaign at level 47, I'm now visiting all of the Altars of Lilith in preparation for S1 as well as work my way to level 50.


So this is the part of the game that feels like work. huh.

To be fair, on the advice of youtubers, I held off on completing most sidequests or doing a lot of dungeons, prefering to do all of those in World Tree 3. Just waiting for the opportunity. But man.....trying to take out all of these Lilith Altars when I have other games on my ps5 and xbox just waiting to be played...

If they just made it so you can earn renown for killing mobs in those regions (including dungeons/cellars in those regions) then this renown complaint would be a non-issue. People just don't want to be forced to grind a bunch of chit they've already done, including quests. The quests may be interesting but if they are just a check-box to achieve a goal they lose their appeal (and let's be honest, the rewards are meh).

got my sorc to 80, all glphs to 15, and kinda lost the drive to play in the last couple weeks. End game loop is pretty trash. Itemization is trash. New season doesn't look all that great. I'll probably just do the season journey if they have that similar to D3 then get back to POE once the next league comes out.

Yeah Sorc is a test of patience to play. Unless you have insane gear, damage is mediocre at best and no amount of gear will stop you from dying to basically everything.

Sorcerer doesn’t shine until level 80+ with loads of CD reduction. It’s extremely gear dependent. That said, when you have builds like Bone Spear that wrecks the entire way from 1-100, there is something wrong with that. Just got to level 50 this weekend, I still feel like idk how to play this game. I did my first nightmare dungeon and got obliterated.

I’m gonna try doing all the side quest first before doing another ND. My pulverize werebear build was powerful but boring as fuk so I went back to the lighting werewolf build.

Yeah don’t bother with nightmare dungeons early on in WT3 as you’ll get rekt while only getting abysmal glyph xp.

Grab the statues and explore the map, season starts in 3 days.

I tried Bone Spear nec, only level 55 but I didn't think it was that great. Low defenses and the damage is sub par. Searching for a good build atm. It's hard to go away from the trampleslide druid though cause it's so fun to play, and tanky asf. 14k life at level 75 currently. If I find tempest roar I will switch to werenado but I'm perfectly fine using the trampleslide build

What are you guys maining for S1?

Bit torn atm between Necro and Rogue, loving both of them, TB felt like a chore but Pen shot is fuking fun.

Only levelled the rest up to the first capstone and cba to power through the Paragons etc.

HotA Barb is ok but running out of Fury every 2 slams is defo annoying. Well at least I’m not squishy.

Sorc felt cool I guess but started to fall off in the late 30s.

Druid just made me want to shoot myself and dropped it at 25.

I'm a bone spear and it's pretty powerful but is uber glass-cannon. Not to mention the big damage requires vulnerable + vines + a wall nearby to reflect spears. It's super bursty in the right situations but weak in others. Get an unstoppable boss or elite for instance and your damage tanks.

Unique gloves and energy regen/reductions on TB rogue is nuts. Nonstop TB spam and combo points faster than you can spend. I calculated that it was better to spend at 2 points if you didn't have an instant 3 because otherwise you waste the points. It functions just like the WoW combat rogue in t3+ gear.

That said, I'm going Druid. Damage reduction, speed, damage...if it gets nerfed, I'll rage. That's a real possibility because S1 will be full of class balance changes.

i'll be fine with the 250 ONLY if the drop rates are increased... cause right now ain't getting anything good from them. With items not being tradable and such, the drop rates need to be higher since this is all account bound and seasonal content anyhow.

On my first two characters I noticed I was getting some very high power leveled items from the chests. I'm pretty sure they ninja NERFED gear drops when they increased experience from nightmare dungeons. Every character since has been getting absolute garbage stats and power level is very low. Blizzard muddied the stat pool with tons of random stats that are insignificant to any class, while making those insignificant stats "common" drops. For instance, I'm level 73 and have been on world tier 4 since level 58. I've run a dozen nightmare dungeons, have done at least two dozen Hill tides, and have yet to find a chest piece with any defensive stats. They all have things like "do more damage against poisoned enemies" or lightning strike damage. Chest and legs should have a higher rate of defensive stats, since they are the only two defensive pieces. I have no idea why they would have decided to make such a high rate for offensive stats on those two pieces.

people are saying the drop rates have been decreased
i havent seen anyone saying anything good about this patch, just nerfs all around for no reason at all
