Tik Tok is similar to youtube in that if you like a specific video, the algorithm will show you more videos similar to it.

So if you are using the app and see a bunch of weird videos, that means you are likings similar ones to it.

if you dont lie some videos, dont press the like button. You can even say you dont want to see content similar to it and you will see less of it going forward.

its crazy how they know. I dont use fagagtok but i sometimes watch youtube shorts (same thing) and it will know after about 2 minutes what Im interested in. I dont even like videos or share. I guess they can hear me laugh? weird af srs

I also think it's because there's a sense of community there, srs.

A lot people like to follow and reply to people they relate to, and on there it's really easy to get connected to those people based on the algorithm.

But yeah, the information rabbit hole of underreported news is the most addictive for me.
