I would do pushups, curls and crunches. Then I would wear size medium polo shirts that squeeze the arms. Felt so alpha walking around campus brother

I lifted and took the weight training class my senior year in high school. I played on the basketball team but we didn't lift nearly as much as the football team.

not seriously, at one point I bought a cheap pair of like 20 lb dumbbells and fooled around with them some, my arms got a little bigger, didn’t start seriously lifting until after hs and then wished I started sooner

I started working out at 14 (push ups, sit ups) and lifting weights at 15 around the time I created this account srs.

I was the most jacked dude in my friend group by far. Then I stopped working out around the time I graduated high school. Was a non-lifting ph@ggot miscer for years. Picked it up again when the lockdowns hit and now I’m the strongest I’ve ever been in my life.

Yeah. I started when I was 14-15 between 8th and 9th grade year for football.

Then I just never quit, and it's been almost 30 years.

Yes, it was a required class at my high school (this was in the mid to late 90s btw)
I still remember my PE teacher's minimum passing requirements; you had to lift your body weight for reps, squat your body weight for reps, and deadlift your body weight for reps. Girls had to do half their body weight for reps.

Barely I was only 135-140lbs back then. Felt great when I finally put up 135 for reps. Grew up fat so I was too scared to eat big. Lots of people in my hs lifted though. Quite a few ended up making crazy transformations by senior year.
Do not think that what is hard for you to master is humanly impossible; and if it is humanly possible, consider it to be within your reach.
