I'm kinda over the side quests at this point. There's just too many of these sumbitches.

I'm at 80 something completion. Will probably finish tonight.

You’re gonna miss upgrades and the best gear if you do that. I think those have plus signs so you probably want to atleast do those.

Yea there's too many, I started just skipping all of them except the + ones around the Bahamut section,

supposedly at the very end they drop a bunch that worth doing if you want some closure with side characters.

Keeping in mind the most successful FF in decades is an MMO, I dont see how 'real FF' cant span different genres

Finally finished. Plat doesn’t seem like it would be too bad if I just skip all cutscenes and most side quests for NG+.

Ending was not what I expected.

Did he died? I could go either way. Is Joshua dead after Clive healed his wounds? Who actually wrote the book?

So whats the word on the game? I am a big FF fan and don't mind when they mix it up. I've enjoyed the 1/2 remakes back in the day, 10, 12, and even to some extent 15.

But some make this sound like essentially a DMC game? Is there any depth or are you mostly there for the cutscenes.

Just finished the game too.

The book was written by Joshua Rosfield, and Joshua also recovered his wounds after the fight with Ultima, you see his wounds healing. But Clive died


Good game, story was nice too and not too convoluted.

Yeah it's basically a devil may cry game with rpg elements. Don't expect a traditional FF game.

Yes there's depth, its DMC style in gameplay but full FF with story

This franchise will likely outlive everyone in this thread. And more like 16? They change things up in every iteration since 6. I just want a fun game with an awesome story.
