US NAVY detonates 40,000 LB Bomb in the Ocean....

this is so fukked up





"The United States Navy was carrying out 'Full Ship Shock Trials' off the country's east coast.

The 40,000lb (18,143kg) explosion was detonated as part of a test to assess the aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford's ability to withstand battle conditions.

The US Geological Survey registered the explosion as a 3.9 magnitude earthquake."

Make sure not to use a plastic straw or water your grass more than 2 hours a week tho - environment and such.

What is all this outrage? Do you understand how small these bombs are and the ocean-life is pre-screened that nothing will be harmed? They arent nuclear or cause radiation.

What's so messed up about it exactly? Do we know if it actually harmed anything or are we just going off what we think happened. Also if you google the story its over two years old, so why do you care about it now?
