Did the wrong two Beatles die young?

My old man used to tell me "The wrong two Beatles died young, son. It should have been John Lennon and George Harrison that we got to keep longer".


Was he right? I tend to agree with him, though I'm on the fence about swapping Paul out for John. I'd trade Ringo for George Harrison in a heartbeat.

John Lennon was always meant to die young IMO, as morbid as it sounds. Kind of like how Elvis and Michael Jackson both died young.

George Harrison though should've lived a lot longer. Sucks he got cancer.
