a job that pays double my current salary

My current job is in an industry i like (fitness) but I make poverty wage. Another job im looking at is in a more normal industry eith double the wage

I like my job but the pay sucks and i don't like the manager or my coworkers. Basically they are scumbags

Should i try to get this double-triple salary in a less exciting industry? The people i work with might be better there too and not scumbags

Um, I'm fairly certain that we are heading into an economic downturn.

Should you move out of an industry that most people consider and optional expenditure and into a "more normal industry"?

Unless that industry is something even more prone to being wrecked during a deep downturn, then yes. You should change jobs.

Change it ! Liking something is not enough to handle half the payment.

If you told me that you loved it, it was your identity/you wouldn't be you (or better) if you left your job, the answer would not be the same. But if that was the case, you wouldn't be asking it in the first place.

Economically (financially) it makes sense to change jobs but i do love

I do love the job and the industry changed my life for the better

Still not sure it justifies scumbag managers and poverty income

Um, yes.

Working in fitness should just be a "hobbie" if you like it so much it won't feel like work if you do it on the side outside of a job that pays more.

Id like my own company one day tho so being in the -dustry is good way to meet people

I have stayed at lowe paying jobs because I liked what i was doing and liked the people.

In retrospect, it put me in a financial hole that took a long time to get out of and if I had to do it again I would have left way earlier than I did.
