Um, the market closed down more than .5% today...
A democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. And that's why the USA is a constitutional republic and not a democracy.

Met a few Trumpers at this dump in middle America. White dudes, trump hats, their women looked like opioid whores.
I’m there with my Mongol cut by myself just enjoying my beer. Dude comes up and tells me whites only. I step up and he sees I’m way taller than him. He immediately backs down once he’s sees my cut. He apologized and paid for my tab. He offered for me to smash his girl but I didn’t want HIV. I made him clean the bathroom after I pissed on the walls.
Got on my bike and continued my ride
Why are Trumpers such betas?

1-day...

1-week...

Even after 2 years... 2.9% is hardly "big"

I'll put this here also incase you missed it op
Let's go with the nasdaq since you make a lot of noice about it lately
So....
Let's say we invested $100,000 after closing January 2021
Nasdaq closed Jan 21 2021 13,457.25
Nasdaq closed today at 14,316.66 up 6.386% total over 2 1/2 years.
Now let's start here
To break even we would need $116,639.91 according to the BLS cpi calculator

https://data.bls.gov/cgi-bin/cpicalc...1&year2=202306
So if I put $100,000 in nasdaq that day, it would be worth 106,386.22 today
My net loss adjusted for inflation $106,386.22 - $116,639.91 = -$10,253.69
So I would have a net loss of $10,253.69 when adjusted for inflation.
When compared to this

It's been rough

DJIA the day Biden was elected Nov 3, 2020: 26,903
DJIA as of July 28, 2023: 35,359
If you invested because you knew Biden’s policy would save our economy, as the markets responded due to his crushing victory over Trump, your bank account would be lOADED!

DJIA when Markets saw how horrible he handled covid and pushed masks: markets lost 30% in 2 weeks, forcing people into poverty and delaying retirement

Who the hell becomes impoverished because the Dow dips for a few months?

Or is this where you ignore the Dow had fully recovered within 9 months, and continued going up... until 9 months into theBidenadministration when it started a year-long downslide?
