Covid alters mitochondrial function; influenza doesn't.

SARS-CoV-2 infection alters mitochondrial and cytoskeletal function in human respiratory epithelial cells mediated by expression of spike protein

"In summary, these findings represent strategies utilized by the cell to survive the infection but result in a fundamental shift in the epithelial phenotype, with potential long-term consequences, which could set the stage for the development of chronic lung disease or long COVID-19."

"Compared to influenza A virus (IAV), we observed alterations in both metabolic and cytoskeletal pathways suggestive of epithelial remodeling in the SCV2-infected cells, reminiscent of pathways activated as a response to chronic injury."

So this could mean Covid causes exercise intolerance, if it's messing with mitochondria.
Back off, Warchild.

It looks like it really messes up cells and their function.

Great point. But not at all relevant to a study that has nothing to do with vaccines

Sure it does. If you’re so scared of the virus, and you think the boosters are safe and effective, then it stands to reason that you would get as many as are offered. So please make sure to keep getting them to stay safe.

If, as the threads you constantly post suggest, the virus is some terrible disease that resulted in hundreds of millions of people having brain damage(among lots of other things like what you’re sharing in this thread)….and the injections are safe and effective, then shouldn’t you make sure to get all the boosters they’ll offer you?

So heart damage, impotence, low T, brain damage, lung damage?

What new scare tactic will OP come up with tomorrow? Muscle atrophy? Kidney disease? Liver damage?

Scarier than your rona.

But that's beside the point.. Tell us you're just arguing for the sake of having an argument without telling us you're just arguing for the sake of having an argument

Wat?

Is your argument that the things covid infection seem to cause are scarier than a covid infection, so covid infection is therefore nbd?
