Nothing is more sad about aging

than seeing people get fat. Like attractive people from high school/college you knew, then you scroll on social media and see them ballooned up.
Even my family has gotten fat/chubby, sad because I was the fat one growing up, I remember being 12 and crying in the bathroom when my brothers made me realize I was fat not husky

Banged a girl throughout the years at 3 different weights. HS weight. Then blew up in college like 30lbs (still smashed) and then 10 years later in mid 30s was in ok shape but old..... was nasty but drunk sex. Idk what I'm trying to say... but yeah aging sucks

Lately I’ve been encountering people i I knew from middle/highschool, and they look legit like middle aged people, especially women.

I freak out a bit inside srs, women that used to be attractive and now look like your typical average mom(without actually being moms) feels so weird. Especially because I’m their same age lol, so I know I’ve aged as well, even if more gracefully I’d like to believe.

I’m 32 btw

Lol, I'm not too concerned about other people's weight. However, it irks me when some of my fat relatives try to give opinions about weight.

I have an aunt who has been probably about 50 pounds overweight since I've known her. She's not morbidly obese or anything, but definitely fat. Earlier this Summer I was beginning a cut and she tried to tell me that "I was crazy, and didn't need to lose weight at all".

These are people who live in a boring suburb and go on cruises for fun about 3x per year. Nice people, but completely different than me and not a group I could possibly gain anything from.

Few weeks ago I went to a wedding with family friends I haven't seen in years (some in decades). I'm late 30's. You always remember them by how they looked growing up (not friends on social media so haven't seen what they look liked now). Real mind fuk. I know they're older but damn seeing them balloon up with a tired defeated face (all have kids or grandkids). Feels bad man.

I think watching people's hopes and dreams fall apart is worse, OP. Actually, the worst is people giving up on their hopes and dreams to settle for some deskcel wagecuck life. Then there's all the lonely single dudes out there, or people in controlling relationships, or norwooding...

It's 2023 anyway. Fat people can just hop on Ozempic if they cbf.

Yeah, those all suck, but its not like I can look at someone and see if their life sucks like that. And most bald people I see are fat, so not a good combo.
Some hopes and dreams are unrealistic, not everyone is gonna be an athlete/actor/billionaire
I truly think I'd be happier as a fit single dude than waking up to a fat wife who won't let me workout or eat healthy, because I should be doing chores/bullchit and eating what she cooks.

I just hit 30 and realized that all the women I have ever liked or simped for growing up are also now 30. Even if they came to me begging and pleading I probably wouldnt entertain them knowing theres probably a 23 year old out there with less baggage.

Age is pretty cruel. I dont think I peaked in highschool and my 20's werent that eventfull. Now im 30 and in good shape and appear to be aging well so im hoping im just a late bloomer. As for my peers that are the same age, a majority of them are looking pretty rough.

Checked in to see if anyone had mentioned watching your parents get old and die. Thats the first thing that comes to mind for me. I have one grandpa left and I went to visit him a week ago. I took my son and as we were leaving I told him "I used to do all the things you do with grandma and grandpa with him, he used to be active. We waded rivers fishing, we hiked, that's still how I remember him". Now I'm watching my parents through the same process (then I'll be up next, gulp).

Yeah it’s super easy to get fat post college. I ballooned like 60 lbs right after in a year or two but have since lost most of it after keeping myself in check.

The key is to stay in shape.

People use age an excuse to get fat when in reality they're shoving fast food down their throats daily and barely moving their bodies.

every 10 lb's of extra body fat ages you like 5 years at least.

To me thats not as sad; death is the result of life.
My grandma died recently, survived cancer, WW2 as a Japanese girl, and poverty, but my stepmom said she was glad I didn't see her recently. She was a shell of herself, forgetfully, moody, etc, not something you'd enjoy or like to remember.

Go to the beach. The average person over 23 is at least 30-40lbs over-weight and has a completely **** body.

Pretty much all of my male friends/associates workout. And most of them are on TRT or are enhanced as well. I kind of put myself in a bubble of relatively fit/muscular people. Spend some time on boats or beaches though. The average American looks disgusting.
