I think it should become clear to most people by now, that discussing anything on this topic with BBMG is a waste of breath. He's shown himself, time and time again to be extremely disingenuous, and is only interested in pushing his beliefs, not in actually having a discussion. Probably best to just let this thread die.

The norms and customs you're describing, and romanticizing, still exist in parts of the US, for example in Evangelical Christian communities. Spend some time with them. Guarantee you won't get laid there either.

What it took to have zero options was way different. I understand there were guys with no options, but you had to basically not even be useful as a provider. Anyone has the ability to put in the hours to do that, so the guys with ZERO options just werent trying very much.
