I wish we could choose how our tax dollars are distributed.

I say every year, you get to choose from a checklist of things your tax dollars can go towards.

You have to check a minimum amount of boxes, but you can check as many a you want.

You can choose between social security, military, schools, etc.

You can also choose to forfeit your options and let the government do with the money what it will.


I think it's something worth pondering. What say you misc? Agree? Think I'm a fukking dumbass? Let's discuss.

That would be cool.

I wouldn't give military any funding for a good few years. The US Military Industrial Complex has horded enough money anyway.

Public Health, Schools, and Social Security would be my first priorities.

Would be an interesting concept; I know the main areas such as defense, social security, health insurance, economic security, veteran/federal retirees, and interest on the debt will all be out of bounds but taxpayers should be allowed to allocate percentages of their money (totaling 100%) towards education, transportation, natural resources/agriculture, science/medical research, law enforcement, and international programs.
