Deep Fried Steak Experiment

Tried to deep fry a small ribeye, about 10oz. Came out pretty good. Doing the low carb thing now.

When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

Why can't you just cook it like a normal person?

Nah. Kia was great, but warranty is just about up. Gotta move to something else.

Cooks faster, same amount of calories as pan searing.

I must be doing something wrong then. I'm losing weight instead of gaining.

I'm diabetic, and my blood glucose levels have been pretty good since starting low carbing.

It came out quite good. I don't care for breading. I seasoned the steak and cooked it for 3 minutes.

I personally wouldn’t take cooking advice from a chef that doesn’t have a Michelin star restaurant

That’s what I always used to tell the chefs that didn’t have Michelin stars when I was working there.

I tried this experiment and it didn't work with flour; i would say that egg and panko bread crumbs may..... have a better outcome.
Lamb chops did not work either.
