Resisting the urge to drink mayne

Friday night and I have beers in the fridge - but today is the fifth day of a no alcohol “thing”.

Sorta took it serious about how you guys say it’s really bad for you and ran with it.

Can’t say I noticed a difference yet.

I got 4 tallboys, I mostly stick to weekends these days. Trying to careermaxx and heavy drinking makes me lose my momentum

Nice, and sounds like you have a good day planned tomorrow.

This isn't advice, but if you can get to sleep without taking a sip of alcohol then I would just crack open a club soda/sparkling water.

Just depends on the person I guess, some ppl are more receptive to alcohol, thats why I believe the whole genetics aspect

In my case I hate weed, never had a good high in my life

Man I feel that, I’m on 2 weeks no alcohol and worst part is no womens because that was only time I was around girls was at the bar.

Last time I got drunk ended up banging a girl in her parents pool.


I might go to bars and drink some juice or some chit so I can still get laid

Don’t do it. I’m actually on day 5 as well, with a fridge full of beer and a garage with a library of various spirits. Just occupy yourself with something else to get your mind off of drinking. What you’re feeling right now is the whole point behind why you stopped drinking (at least temporarily) in the first place.

Just get through the day.

When I was younger I was all over beer, vodka, sake, tequila, mixed drinks everyday or every other day. Felt like chit a lot. 2 glasses of whisky on the weekends only now.

tried it a few times and while i can still be successful, it's a small fraction as fun (probably because i remember everything lol)
