Did Ron DeSantis ruin his political career by running against Trump?

Seems like DeSantis would have had a much better time running fresh in 2028 without having to piss MAGA off in the process.

The dude literally pulled 13 people in Iowa while Trump was speaking to 6k at a state party dinner in South Carolina.

Trump will make any of these politicians look stupid if they try to get in verbal exchanges....that's why they hid biden and let the entirety of the media battle trump. i wonder if we will see biden at all in 2024...bet they'll even come up with reasons to not engage trump in the debates

Not at all, because Trump is going to prison at some point, or will work out a deal to bail out of the race to forgive his prison term.

From there it will revive DeSantis to some degree.

But stubborn Qanon people who support Trump to the grave will probably protest, and put Biden and his cohorts in the WH for decades to come.

It's actually quite ingenious how the Dems have strategized this thing with Trump, because Trump is literally unelectable in a general, and the candidate that had any shot of winning a general for the GOP has kind have been lopped off.

Trump can't win independents, and has no electoral path. States like MI, WI, PA, AZ and GA are not in play anymore.

So ultimately when this thing when Trump reaches its climax of prison or bailing out of the race it leaves nobody to take the baton.

Trump's lawyer, Habba, is literally bankrupting his campaign via legal fees. Jack Smith alone is going to keep the pressure until no money is left, and quite soon you're going to have the GA DA jumping into this fight.

Conservatives have already lost 2024.

I changed my party to Republican a few weeks ago and I’m voting for Trump.

The Bay Area people will burn me at the stake.
