Honestly thought this thread was gonna be about the Amish. Check em out for an example of an exponentially growing group that hasn't been cucked by modern clown world yet.

Amish and Mennonites have been hanging on.

I saw a video which theorized clown world will self-extinguish and the traditional religious adherents will inherit the earth simply by continuing to have children.

^why the fuking hell do you have that gif saved?

at any rate I was watching a video last night that slightly touches on this topic.

Cliffs:
-Our current generation loves to travel for experiences but doesn't understand the importance of staying in a spot, growing deep roots where you are, and building a strong community and being a part of that community.

So yeah there has been a real dissolution of community in the last 20 years or so. Us 30+ oldcels complain that we used to be able to ride bikes around town completely unsupervised, but you can't do that anymore since basically a lot of us don't really talk to our own neighbors anyways.

But I don't agree with her assertion that it's the solution for the dissolution of the nuclear family. I'm not a fan of that "it takes a village to raise a child" mentality.

They're not just hanging on, they are thriving. Check out their population graphs.

What's funny is despite their "strict" ideas in some areas, their success seems to be due in part because they are not a monolithic group completely tied to rigid ideas. Whenever a group doesn't like something they break away and form their own settlement while keeping their core identity. They spread out, have kids like crazy, and are self sustaining. Pretty admirable really, especially with the current state of things.

Truckin'
You're sick of hangin' around and you'd like to travel. Get tired of travelin' and you want to settle down...
Something to be said about establishing a home and sense of place for certain. Heard that one reason people quit van life is that it eventually becomes mundane...just a different sort of grind...but with no ability to really invest in a place or community.

Her point in the video was less about raising children and more about adult security. Near the end she speaks on people who are polyamorous and may think that protects them because if one sex based relationship ends they still have other ones to lean on, but that still isn't a solution for connection and security for people who aren't sexually active/marketable for whatever reason- lack of interest, not desirable, physically incapable, etc.

A tribe is more of an extended family where members are expected to pitch in an help each other as needed. So someone might never be part of a couple or become a parent, but they would still act as an aunt/uncle and contribute while they are health and productive with some assurance of not being left abandoned at the first injury or illness or job loss.

here's a real simple thought experiment:

- hot woman. is married. sees hot guy. birth control available. decides she can fuk cause even if accident - plan B
- hot woman. is married. sees hot guy. has no access to birth control.

i GUARANTEE the # of the former would go down if you eliminated b/c. it changes everything to long term strategy

i don't agree that just because you want to fuk other people means you should

I even think the video dolphinpilot posted is explained by what im saying. the population on bc is way more into short term experiences

why? because again.. there are no repercussions for aforementioned scenario. even worse than that it pretends there aren't; there are, it can just be washed away under the guise there aren't

it also explains A LOT of what is going on in society

When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

Another thing that is greatly missing due to the size of our communities is the feeling of impact. Small towns and tribes/communities used to take care of each other. If someone was an upstanding member of the group and they fell on hard times then the group would all come together to help. In our recent history this was often accomplished through the church, but throughout history could also be accomplished just by the group coming together. Now we try to relegate that aspect to the govt. via taxes and social programs. In addition to it being way less effective and leading to corruption, it also makes the contributor feel disconnected from the impact. Sure your taxes may go towards improving schools, or helping a single mother…but it also goes towards bureaucracy and people who game the system. And even with the people it benefits, you never see that impact up close and personal so you don’t feel like much of a contributor. Compare that to being in a smaller group on the frontline helping someone in need and the two scenarios are drastically different.

Never finished the original video because it seemed she was just incessantly crying about women’s rights. Does she know what women’s right looked like in most tribes and small groups throughout history? It’s not like they were in a utopia until our current evil patriarchy established itself. Women have always had a different role in society than men, and that often meant less control over their situation. Being in an optimal tribe can help with that but it doesn’t change the differences between men and women.
