Not really but I am an adequate salesperson and know more about the product than anyone else in the room. Which gives me the advantage with any buyer who actually is intelligent.

I did really well with sales and earned a free trip to the Caribbean for selling home decor.

I tried to translate that and cosmetic sales into a job doing tech sales, but they wouldn’t go for that.

No, I'm going to hire a sales brah to help me craft a pitch and get better ded srs.

I pitched to a guy last week and the first words out of my mouth were, "So my products are really expensive and it's probably not what you're looking for, but..."

I'm better at intangible sales than tangible sales but have done both. But haven't had to sell in a long time, because most of my business comes from referrals and they are already assumed closes.

Sales teaches you all sorts of useful skills, not the least of which is the power of conversation and persuasion.
