My cousin was a home care nurse in Philly and described it to me yesterday.

One day your feet can't feel and cant move, then it slowly moves all the way up over time.
You have an itch but cant scratch it, so you rely on others.
Then as it moves up, the internal parts stop moving unless machines move the internal parts of your body that you do not think about moving.

Am I really the only one who thinks it's pretty lulzy that she's getting all that attention and adoration for taking care of her own man while he was dying?

Imagine if someone told you about how a random nobody of a man decided to hanker down and take good care of his wife/LTR gf while she died of something like say, ALS (as this story talked about when her man died of it). Then imagine if you leaped praise on the guy and acted like he was some supremely noble person for taking care of his dying wife. People would respond to that with "No chit assshole, you're SUPPOSED TO take care of your spouse when they are dying."


Just lmao at people trying to act like she's some ultra great person just for doing exactly what she should have done in that situation, which was to stand by her man while he was dying. So she wasn't a complete and utter slootbag (at least not publically) in response to her own man dying, ooooo what a wonderful person she must be!!!

Discarding a sick loved one makes someone a piece of chit. I don't automatically decide someone is of supreme good morality just because they do the right thing in that situation.

Also, in case you didn't realize, I am human as well. That means that I have also had experiences with pain, suffering, loss, and death. So she is not unique to me in that sense.

I also think it is relevant to point out the fact that Bullock is obviously richer than hell. Which means she has close to limitless resources for such things. You're out of your mind if you think that her experience with taking care of her man who got ALS was the same as what normal people go through. She most likely had hired help around the clock, not to mention plenty of access to all of the best resources to make everything as easy as possible for them given the circumstances. All I'm saying is, be realistic.

I don't automatically think someone is an amazing person just for not abandoning their dying spouse. Especially a filthy rich celebrity like Sandra Bullock who we know damn well was able to easily afford 24/7/365 hired care for him on top of whatever she did herself personally.

She did the right thing to stay by him (publically she did, but assuming she remained 100% loyal even behind closed doors would be naive), and I'll give her credit for doing the right thing there. None the less, everything else I mentioned is still valid. Point being, no, I don't automatically assume she is a super amazing person over it.

She also didn't turn it into a publicity stunt with sympathy begging selfies and fake fund drives.

It is very newsworthy that a female with options did this. Your example was talking about a normal guy doing it for his wife, that is common. But the wife doing it for the husband, is not.

Sandra Bullock had no choice in this case. Divorcing a dying man is terrible PR and any celebrity that does it will look bad for doing it.

Rather, she has millions in resources to take care of her husband and she gets a PR boost from it for being loyal. As long as she kept it on the down low that she was banging other dudes, she could've dumped that dude the moment he couldn't wipe his own ass
