Rate Steak Dinner Out Of 10 (Pics)
Tasted Fooking amazing.
-Aged Ribeye with compound butter
-Pickles/sauerkraut/Roasted Red Pepper mix
-Raw Milk Cheese
Didn't feel like cooking up anything else with it so just did some pickled/fermented veggies and like 1/3 block or raw milk cheese.
A little pissed I forgot to take off the steak at 120 internal instead of 125 because I did a long baste on this bad boy. Forgot basting raises it a lot more so the steak isn't a good deep medium rare. Still was amazing and extremely tender.

What is it with you Americans and putting heart attack levels of butter on everything? Don't get me wrong, looks tasty as fuk but that's like 1000 cals worth of butter.

That steak is cooked the way I like it, not bloody, a nice flavor char on the outside and medium in the middle so you dont get parasites.
But ill pass on that pickle side dish it might make me puke lol
Give me some Potatoes or basmati rice instead.

I was going to make sweet potato fries and fried onions but decided I'm too lazy right now to make an actual side.

I like Sauekraut though.
That steak just made me hungry for real buttered and juicy with nice crust to it, dam the flavor must have been off the wall, did you eat the entire thing or half only and saved the rest for later?
With red meat I have to consume it in smaller portions, for gut and digestive reasons, I feel it helps me break it down better as I get older. I eat a lot of eggs though thats my main protein source and been adding in bean soup home made style.

Yea I took down the whole thing like nothing. Have a watered down glass of lemon and apple cider vinegar an hour before you eat (drink through a straw) or eat sauerkraut/kimchi/pickles a little bit before you eat. It helps digest everything way better. I used to have major digestive issues from H. Pylori in the beginning of 2020 and I cured it all then figured out how to get rid of all digestion issues. No more acid reflux/heartburn, upset stomach, etc. That's why I always at least have a bit of fermented food once a day if I eat a big meal.
I actually usually make 2-3 eggs with my steak too lately. Eggs are my second main protein source behind red meat.

Mirin. We all have our preferences on sides but no way could I live with myself if I didn't cook up some seasoned roasted potatoes with a good steak. Like the Gods are smiling down on you, it is.

I actually prefer steak like this rather than a deep red. However, I started eating my burgers more red in the center, which doesn't make sense.
