Its something I've always wanted to try, but I don't eat enough bread to warrant buying a bead maker.

You're looking at the darker bits on the crust? It's interesting because they aren't 'charred' at all, and the guide says it should be a 'deep chestnut' color, but you're right that it's a bit darker there than I wanted.

It honestly looks like the type of bread that you’d get from a very good bakery. Well done.

I do it in my dutch oven dude.

This is the "no knead" technique and is so accessible as long as you have a Dutch oven / oven.

I was a bread noob too. During COVID wifey and I started experimenting with this technique to see if we could reliably make a decent bread for ourselves.

The Divina olives in the OP are there for the olive variation of this bread. It is my favorite but less flexible for toppings.

Yeah man, and I do a whipped ricotta dip for wifey also. It is so simple really I wish I had trusted the method years before.

And cared about all the additives put in the average loaf of bread sold.

Haha, good one. He has a sourdough book but I haven't gone there since I'm too lazy to maintain sourdough if I'm honest.

And yeah, there's even a 'speedy' version of this that can be done in a few hours, but I like the longer version - has a better flavor. Even moreso if I put the dough in the fridge for a few days!

Thank you so much, Kimm! Any advice as to when I can get her started at the gym/sports? Would love to encourage her to avoid some of the sedentary pitfalls I chose in my life

Did you make a thread? Would love to see that strawberry thread!

Thanks dude. The person who popularized the technique used here has a bakery in NYC. Quite an eccentric and interesting guy heh.
