I wish I could find the podcast about a drink company that tried to start a bottling plant in Haiti. They thought they were going to have unlimited poorcel wagies lining up to be slaves, but they couldn't even get a factory built. Even the bricks intended for construction were stolen and sold by the roadside lol.

Nope. Did you read everything I wrote? The African slaves were legit casting spells on their slave owners and reeking paranormal havoc on the plantations. Do some solid research on this. Look into the difference between Haiti and Dominican Republic's landscape. It's like night and day. Haiti is on the same slab as the DR, yet Haiti is barren while DR is flourishing of lush green land. Keep in mind this is the tropical Caribbean. Other Afro islands such as Jamaica, Grenada, Barbados, etc, are all also lush green flourishing landscape. Haiti is cursed, 100%. Japan was already a military and economic powerhouse before the nukes. So rebuilding for them was nothing. Hell they technically never even lost that war since the American'ts pulled out nukes on civilians.

As for Haiti, it seems like they have less engineers. My guess is that a difference between 10:1000 engineers makes a huge difference on infrastructure and economics.
