Love protein bars

main thing for me as I eat them for function is macros. Lower fat higher carb higher protein is how I like them personally

Taste obviously 2nd

Texture, I am a huge fan of “outright” bars those have great taste and texture but awful macros

1. Quality ingredients, no **** slop garbage, sugar, chemical preservatives, etc.

2. Not owned by a welfare queen mega corp or you know you

3. Tastes decent

4. Decent macros, doesn't lie on the label

5. Ok if they are expensive, but not like 4x-5x more expensive

Buy a farm why? You're gonna manufacture ur own?

How do you plan to market em?

What sales channels u gonna use?

The market is hella saturated but all great opportunities usually are.

There's always room in the market for a small producer who is offering real value. Everyone buys protein products.

Yep, its the most popular selling product on amazion (atleast in my country), if I have a farm I will have full control over everything and It'll have some real value in 5 years

I'm making a business plan ATM, I'm viewing private land next week to buy, and I'm going to be testing recipes today aswell.

I think I want to start with protein bars and protein pouches, highly convenient and simple chit. The pouch i posted in post 11 has great potential if marketed right, I really wanna own the protein pouch market, i think its a slept on product, and i wanna be a catalyst in making it prominent

Replenishable market, ESPECIALLY workout supps are one of the most brutal markets right now. Look at the CPC costs I posted (Amazon). Avg~ $10 PER CLICK. That's right, everytime someone clicks on a "sponsored" ad, YOU pay $10. Typical conversion rate is 10% IF ur lucky (on Amazon). So if ur product costs $25, you are PAYING $100 for that sale. Cost of ads aren't all that different across platforms.

You know the supp company Quest and Ghost? They got successful from recognizing and going HARD into influencer marketing way before anyone else found out about it.

Unless you have an unique marketing plan, you ain't gonna make it srs.

IMO you should source from existing manufacturers first and test the market b4 buying property and equipment.

Boyo, there are times to go "all in" and times to be precise and test the market.

Amazon is just American Alibaba/Aliepxpress. It's for unloading shipping containers full of cheap chinese consumer goods.

I haven't looked at rates in a long time, but it's very hard for a small biz to make anything on amazon without doing enormous volume.

Thank you for the advice brotha, srs. I may test the waters first(from existing manufacturers) to see how it goes but long term I would much rather own my chit 100%.

Yeah you really gotta mog hard and have a strong brand to kill it on there, but once you do its all good. Its just getting to that point, which I'm trying to do.

Most supps are made in USA. The cheap chinese consumer product days are long gone, in most markets. Yes you are correct that margins are lower on Amazon. However, it is still a good marketplace for beginners who have no existing customers or social media presence.

It would be dope if I could get my chit on the shelves in the stores, but I need to have something first. I think amazon is the best place for that still, just logically it makes the most sense

HERO Cosmetics just sold for $630 Million couple months ago. They started on Amazon and eventually went into retail. Many are quick to trash on Amazon without knowing a dam thing.
