I've been branching out to foreign stuff lately, because Hollywood is chit.


I watched an interesting movie on the plane. It was called Manhole, and it's a Japanese movie. It's about a guy who is on his way home from a party and falls into a manhole, and how he is meant to get out. First, I thought it was some standard Saw/Cube type fare where someone needs to get out of a perilous situation with limited resources.


My initial thought was why not just call the police? Movie over, right? But he calls someone else and says he doesn't want to involve the police, and that's a a setup for a major twist the movie takes. Had me hooked for 2 hrs of the flight.
Back off, Warchild.

Video game: Dark Souls 3 is decent solo play. Difficult but rewarding game day can sink hours into.

Movie: Last Christmas is GOAT - Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen). Really good film it’s set at Christmas time and is a rom com (Inb4 negs) but honestly it’s brilliant wood rate brah.

If you like FPS you should check the Serious Sam series, I have okayed 3, 4 and Siberian Mayhem. Very over the top and comical with HUGE waves of enemies to kill.

Siberian mayhem is free on gamepass, him and Duke Nukem are up their for goat game characters along with doomguy and og master chief srs

Obviously a lot of the AAA titles go without saying, halo cod etc etc

However, one game i really enjoyed lately that i didn't expect to enjoy (on game pass) was "Wolfenstein - the new order", highly recommended srs.
Doom eternal is another gem that doesn't quite get the hype it deserves, also on game pass.
