Forgery is the actual name one of the crimes, not a word that was said or needed to be said.

At the end of the day, Trump has to convince a jury that he wasn't trying to overturn the election.

Not my problem.

Are there actual posters supporting this horse****, or are they simply CCP shills like I suspect?

What I don't understand is the timeline of events last night. How did they move so quickly?

6:30 they were still hearing from 7th witness
7:30 they finished witness 7 and were taking a break
8:01 they started voting, so that means they heard 3 witnesses in less than 30min
8:52 they finished voting on 41 Trump charges plus charges for 18 co-conspirators
8:57 the grand jury returned 10 indictments

How did they hear 3 witnesses and vote all those charges in less than 90 minutes?

Do grand juries usually move this quickly?

I used the timeline from NBC (scroll all the way to the bottom):

GA governor just dunked on Trump.

But he's right, if Trumps folks had any evidence, they would've gave it to law enforcement a long time ago.

Instead they do press conferences and hearings

So he has to prove his innocence? Is that how we do things? I thought it was innocent until proven guilty or is it different this time?

Actually the burden is on the prosecution to prove he tried to overturn the election.

Yes, when the prosecution shows the jury their evidence, the defense (Trump) has to convince the jury that the evidence is wrong.

...And based on Trumps record in court, I'm guessing the chances of him doing that is around 0%

Didn’t the Georgia officials who claimed the election was totally fine later admit to massive chain of custody issues that called into question hundreds of thousands of votes?

Obviously once the damage is done, all they can say is “whoops! Let’s get election reforms to make sure that doesn’t happen again. But still totally legit guys. Good luck proving it isn’t…”

Based on every other accusation against trump… you think these are true political crimes?

I mean… Clinton had a home brew server with classified info that got hacked by foreign govts while she was raking in millions from saud govts to her foundation. She destroyed subpoenaed evidence… and nothing.

Biden “the big guy” has used his son as a proxy to sellout his office to countless foreign govts for millions, influencing political decisions along the way, and the fbi can’t work fast enough to bury it.

All past govt officials have been caught with classified documents, most of whom didn’t have declassifying power and didn’t have their home guarded by secret service… yet trump is the only one charged?

Face it- this is a continuation of russiagate and impeachments. The double standards couldn’t be more obvious. But dems are fine ignoring the means because they like the ends. Once the line is crossed, there is no going back.

wrong, they have to prove that Trump knew that it wasn't fraudulent, but tried to overturn it anyways.
