Accords aren't as reliable as they used to be though because they now have small turbo charged gasoline direct ignition engines.
It may be worth it if you're going to keep it for 3 to 7 years I guess, but don't expect 20 years of worry free ownership like the old days.

2017 was the last year Accords came with Naturally Aspirated engines in the US. Either a 2.4 liter inline 4 or a 3.5 liter v6.
All Accords now come with small turbo charged gasoline direct injection engines.

LOL @ paying cash while inflation is brutally high and you can just put the cash in at least SWVXX and get 5.21% which will pay your interest on the car and then some?

On a Toyota, it's a very reliable hybrid system. On Hondas I'm not exactly sure how reliable it its since it's a completely different hybrid system. It's still probably more reliable than the 1.5 liter Turbo Charged Gasoline Direct Injection Accords though. It's probably the most reliable Accord from 2018-2023 models so if I had to get an Accord, I'd probably get the Hybrid.
I would say that all Camrys of the same year are more reliable though.

That's what's in my Honda, but I never looked into why they are possibly prone to issues.
