Thing is, the song isn't really a conservative song. The lyrics are targeted at the political landscape and raping of our people by company tycoons.

Aldean's is lol though. Guy is such a try-hard, not authentic at all.

I don't get it. Seems like you're saying the values are fine, but the conduct is cringe. If that's the case, how is a social conservative meant to conduct themselves? How should you feel and what should you say and how should you act when faced with looters and arsonists being hailed as heroes?

-stop whining and blaming others for your low end career. You don't hear asian immigrants blame others like this...they all study their asses off to get into stable higher paying careers

-stop the class warfare bs that's from the Marxist playback. Focus on yourself and self improvement.

-stop worshiping a fat phuck from the Atlanta suburbs who cowboyhat maxes to hide his terrible hairline as your cultural small town advocate

I was more talking about the criticism of Aldean. But this is an interesting take too. It's true that it's very lefty to complain about rich people. But hasn't it also been a socially conservative talking point to support the red blooded working class American?

The reason why it went viral is because its connecting with people......everybody knows things are getting worse.....most people aren't able to articulate WHY, but they know their standard of living has consistently gone down for their entire lifetime while they continue to work harder, 2 incomes in the house, side hustles, and they have to pay taxes on literally everything they do, and when they want to buy a pickup truck a base model is $80k.

I expected organized violence a long time ago, then COVID happened and I realized I totally underestimated the willingness of people to be cucked and ruled by straight up authoritarianism, all the government had to do was throw the plebs a $1k check (I didn't qualify so I'm not sure the details on what you plebs got) so my hope in humanity to resist the increasing tyranny and oppression has been massively reduced. But at some point people WILL break - and that's why this song went so insanely viral.

Nothing is stopping any person raised poor or working class to do 4 years in the military, use all the services available to study like hell for SAT and boost college prep, and then use GI bill to attend a good university for free. Literally dozens of people on every military installation whose entire job is to help motivated soldiers get into top universities.

Then while attending university for free, study your ass off and get a nice relevant degree and job in a high paying career.

System is there to help people. It's crazy how so many want to blame the system and the "rich north of richmond" when they CHOSE not to do these things.

America is the best place on earth to move up the socioeconomic ladder. You just need to actually try and not waste your time ages 18 to 26. And don't get anyone pregnant accidentally.

But that's too hard for most so they whine and blame others. It was like pulling teeth to get the soldiers to utilize the GI bill and upscale their lives. Most just simply were too to lazy push themselves academically and wonder why they work a dead end factory job after getting out of the service.

If you take that song as a song for only conservatives then you are pretty stupid. It is very clear he is talking about all the politicians, not one side or the other. If you let the media form your opinion on what that song is about then you are part of one of the problems he is singing about. I do not think he got a talking to by anybody or that he is a pussy. I think he is mad people are trying to hi jack his song for their cause and in doing so also diminishing the meaning of his song.

I didn’t take it for anything. I don’t care about it, nor do I listen to country music anymore. Plenty latched on to it like it was “Merica boys!” and the other side snap went to the “racist hateful MAGA supporting song.” It’s just song and not really any good. It will be irrelevant very soon.
