Whats up with the Bass Pro hat craze?

Seems like every metro sexual that wants to display they have a "country side" is rockin a brand new bass pro hat. Seeing this a lot in the gym with the 18-29 year old crowd. As of two/three months ago it was the classic worn to the threads, fish hook optional, bent brim ontop of Bucks head style, but now its flat brim, still shiney and levatating on the brocclii hair cut...was it featured in a hit tik tok or something? Tampa Bay for reference.

Thats the thing, in Tampa Bay its 100% salt water fishing, so every one rocks $300 PFG/HUK/COSTA jump suits to go strike out on 10 inch mangrove snapper under the bridge. Never see Bass pro gear out on the salt, its usually reserved for the 14ft jon boat bass guys...hence the name Bass Pro.

Yeah he confirmed my theory last week. Those ripped jeans and scoop neck T's dont exactly scream fisherman. I always liked Cabelas I have several hats I used to wear them al the time, they got acquired by Bass Pro Shops back in 2017. I stopped wearing my hat when I saw young teens who look like tik toker kids wearing them around my area and Jake Paul wears them Cabelas and Bass Pro hats.

My family and I have been wearing these hats for years now. The kids love going to Bass Pro for annual camping trip. The store is like a playground with all the boats and off road vehicles the kids are allowed to sit on.

Would never wear a Bass Pro hat to the gym, tho. Way too try hard.
