Think Trump has PTSD from getting bent over by sleepy Joe at the debates?
100% this.

And Trump deep down also knows he'll get fuking wrecked if he has to respond to everyone coming at him. Hurling insults only works around here now.

If Dems want to kill the R Party just have Trump rerun and lose for the next 20 years.

He’ll probably win this election or the next. They’ll need him to sell CBDC like he sold the covid lockdown.

Canceled a debate against Biden in 2020, now scared to debate fellow Republicans in an open primary. Trump has no test.

It's the smart thing to do, because all his opponents have to do is bring up his indictments and he's a laughing stock on a national stage. But how does the GOP expect that to just hang over the entire nomination/election and have him actually get voters? They need to figure out a way to get him out and a new candidate in. And they have almost a year to do it.

Vivek and Scott are both making big pushes and would make FAR more sense to actually have a chance to win against Biden. Vivek would absolutely destroy him in debates, he's a fantastic speaker.

LOL at Trumpers.

Even worse than fame and attention, Trump is risking his life for discount cheeseburgers and diet soda.

And WTF at America in 2023 where we're discussing why our presidential candidates shouldn't be expected to stand up and debate each other.

Yes I do think he is doing it for money and attention. Narcissism is a strong thing.

And yes I do think the Maui fires were legit. I also think 9/11 was an inside job, Pelosi was with his gay lover, Covid was a giant scam, and that the Power Jewish elite are trying to destroy our country.

As for Maui.....I copied and pasted my posts from the Maui thead here.

Remember there is now video showing the first power line falling, a flash from it, and then a fire. It is right on video.

I visited Maui for a week 2 years ago. Spent time in the city that burned too.

You would be surprised how empty Maui is outside of cities next to the water. All of the islands are like that. Anything inland is just mainly mountains and trees. No one is going to live there and I don't think they even want people living there other than a few small towns inland.

The police chief things is pretty odd if true. He is involved in 2 disasters? Hmmmmm can that be verified?

Alarms not going off is strange. Not sure if they have to be set off manually or not. For sure needs to be looked into.

The tree thing I see all the time. Especially Palm or coconut trees. They have long skinny trunks that are hard to catch fire. If their leaves 50 feet high don't catch fire they are fine.

The fact that the town burned is somewhat odd, but understand that just on the other side of the main road that runs up the coast on the west side of Maui is.....nothing. You have the city on the coast, and it is not a huge city. Mainly all old buildings made of wood. Then you have the main travel road, and on the other side of the road is an empty wet grassland that gradually gets greener and greener as it turns into mountains that are only 2 miles away or so. None of that is going to burn. It is just too wet and humid. It rains up in those mountains almost every day. So the only real area that could burn are the man made areas right along the coast.

Oprah buying land is one of the more comical ones. So she bought 1000 acres. I think people think that Hawaii and Maui are these super small islands and that 1000 acres means she owns a huge part of Maui. Not so. It is like me buying 100 acres in S Cal. It is nothing. To drive from one end of Maui to the other would take 2.5 hours. It is a BIG island. And understand that outside of the coastal cities? As in the interior. There are some small small towns but the majority of it is green grassland and mountains. Just emptiness. Her buying 1000 acres is literally a drop in the bucket of land area.

Here is a good sat view of what I was talking about.

Notice the city next to the water....all old wooden buildings. But then as soon as you cross the main road there going east towards the mountains? There is nothing there that is going to burn. It is all wetlands and then mountains. So if there were fires breaking out? The only thing to burn was Lahaina. The small cities north of Lahaina going north up the coast are newer with less wooden buildings and more resorts and concrete buildings. Lahaina is an old historic town with wooden buildings.

As for Oprah and her land....

1000 acres is nothing. Also she bought 870 acres of her 1000 at Ulupalakua Ranch. Which is on the southwestern tip of Maui and near nothing. It is a cattle ranch next to the mountains.

So she bought 1000 acres of......farmland. Good luck ruling the world from there lol.

I am sure it seems small if you live there, you are on an Island surrounded by water. You cannot drive more than 2.5 hours without hitting the coast. Of course part of that is because there are no highways. Just 2 lane roads. But when my wife and I visited 2 years ago we both said it would take 20 years to visit all of the different areas on Maui.

But I could see how growing up there could feel very constricting.

Anyway as far as Oprah....

1000 acres is roughly 400 baseball fields. On an Island that is land wise largely uninhabited? 48 miles long and 28 miles wide?

I mean I am sure she is one of the larger land owners there but again....the island is SO desolate and mountainous and rain foresty that it doesn't matter.

What is she going to do with it? If you told me she was buying up all the coastal and resort areas that is one thing. But she isn't.

Where Oprah bought her land. Ulupalakua ranch

When my wife and I visited Maui we flew into the airport and then took a rental car to the opposite, west side of the island about 5 miles north of where Lahaini is along the coast.

On the way in we were struck by first how empty it was....it is just mountains and grassland, and then as you took the road to the coast we were stunned by the amount of poverty and poor living in shacks.

We saw countless what looked like homeless people living along the beach.

We really did not see anything modern (outside of where the airport was) until we hit all the resorts on the west side of the island. And even then I wasn't blown away. I mean they were nice but some of it seemed pretty dated.....like from the 1970s. And of course Lahaini looked like it was from the 1950s or older.

I could see why some of the elite there want to redevelop things. It wasn't all that great as far as newness and techy stuff and blown away resort stuff tbh.

But no I don't think they intentionally started a fire that killed a 1000 people to do so.

This is what I saw back in 2012 and 2014. This was 3 miles north of Pasadena where I lived. All started from the same type of winds that Lahaina saw.

But here in Hawaii you had a once in a lifetime event where you had a pressure gradient of winds from a hurricane way to the south and a strong high pressure system to the north. As I said earlier I have seen one of those events here in CA. The winds came right off the mountains 3 miles north of us in Pasadena CA. It was a wind event like I had never seen. Car batteries were going dead because of the electro magnetic energy in the air. All dry winds. The next day the mountains 3 miles from us were all burning. It was a giant firestorm. The difference is the mountains here in S Cal were dry. In Hawaii they are super wet...so they don't burn.

And that is what Hawaii had. Dry winds. They were already under an alert because the coastal areas were drier than normal. And as I explained where Lahaini is located.....it is on the coast but across the main road from it is a huge upsloping grassland that goes to really high mountains about 3-4 miles to the east. It was a perfect setup for winds to come down the mountains and into Lahaina and any little spark could have started the whole thing. And as soon as it did....with all of those old wooden buildings? It was all over.

Electricity being out is completely normal in a high wind situation.

It has happened countless times to me here in S Cal as power lines fall and many times they shut it off on purpose to stop fires.

I think the alarm issue and everything else was probably a lack of good infrastructure and pure panic. They had never experienced anything like that before and had no idea what to do. Here in S Cal they would have.

The ONE thing I have trouble understanding is telling the firefighters to go home after they put the first fires out. Knowing the winds were still strong. Again though that probably goes back to inexperience in dealing with this kind of stuff.

I mean it is Hawaii. Who expects fires in what is basically a tropical rain forest?

This early on? It certainly can.

The important debates will be the first one, and those final debates between the two GOP hopefuls (Desantis vs Trump or Christie vs Trump) when everyone else has dropped out.

but when it comes down to Biden vs the GOP candidate thats all theater. By that time, everyone has already decided who they're going to vote for. Its just like watching a sports team. Just because the Broncos lose a game doesn't mean you root for their opponent in the next game, No, you'd still be a Broncos fan.

81 gorillion

12 million more than Obama lol

Seems totally legit

Did you guys forget about the antifa rioting that happened throughout 2020? The looting and burning of American cities while people toppled statues of American heroes and wiped their feet on the American flag? All the while democrats dressed up in African garb and kneeled like they were Colin Kirkpatrick? At that point, like now, nothing else mattered, they gave Trump an easy layup, which is why he got a record breaking 74 million votes, and that's with videos of people dumping votes marked for Trump. But then our current demented president rolled in with 81 million. Truly remarkable.
