3 leg days per week is the GOAT (srs)

1 Heavy all out workout
1 Mid tier workout
1 light workout

Test has been fkn thru the roof. Legs aren't as stiff and movements are smoother.

Yeah it’s really the only way to get really strong legs, is to blast them with volume.

Smolov, Sheiko, Bulgarian, every good squat program just has you literally blast the living FUK out of your legs every week like 3-4 times per week.

Sucks at first but you do get used to it if you get proper nutrition and rest.

1 day/wk is simply not enough leg work

Most depressed always say they will work out when their depression is cured. But working out cures depression.

sometimes my mid tier workout will turn into a heavy workout. Really depends on how I feel

3x heavy is too much imo

Naw cardio hits different. Light leg workouts get ur blood flowing and makes ur legs more functional for heavy days

I also do at least 1x hour of cardio day so it's technically 4x legs per week

Increasing volume, improving coordination, training the movement. All different ways to say the same thing.

Also helps as active recovery. Cardio isn’t a bad idea, but light workouts are often done as speed work to activate the same neural pathways but with low intensity to preserve CNS potentiation for the heavy workout.

Mentzer was all about low volume and high intensity. I’m not sure it’s the best philosophy for everyone, especially athletes who are not chemically assisted.

I do legs 2x/week. Legs are way more important than upper body IMO as you get older.

Just make sure to also sprint, jog and stretch. Otherwise you just got oak stumps.

you do that with the mid workout, a light workout is pointless
