Time > health > money

Time is the most valuable currency. If you're out of time then you're out of health completely because you're expired. If you have time and health, everything else like money comes after that.

Agree to disagree OP.

Health > Time > Money for me.

You could have 1-2 years left, as a vegetable or otherwise in pain, in a bed in a hospital. This is an example of how time wouldn't be too preferable. Hope for the reclaim of health, is all you'd have during this time. And it may not turn out favorably.

as a vegetable you have a slim chance of a miraculous recovery... if you're dead you have no chance of enjoying life again

I agree though if you're in terrible health and pain you'd probably rather die than try to continue living

Health and time have some overlap

I just spent about $250 eating out at the beach. I eat out so much that that not much under $40-50 per person impresses me. Yet over $40-50 for a meal (I don't drink alcohol) and it just feels wrong and very hard for me the see value in compared to <$50 options. Granted, there are a few places I will splurge like Daniel Boone Inn, crab leg buffets, The Boundary House, etc. I'm somewhat hard to impress when it comes to eating out and I need good service too.

A current favorite is the last Western Sizzlin left in the south...in Spruce Pine NC. Sort of a long drive to eat but the food is good and service is top notch...employees from small mountain towns around there.

But yes, by definition, ANY place I eat that isn't home (or someone else's home) is considered "eating out".

Time is the "most precious" commodity. "Money" is instrumental in achieving "time", and "health" a requirement to enjoy one's "time" on this planet.

In truth all three are interrelated. If you have any two and not the third you're in for a bad time.

Fast food...slow food...the most greasy food imaginable...if it's not at home I'm eating......out. Plenty of good small town restaurants around here that are about the same price as McDonalds. Just comes down to wanting to go 1-2 miles to eat something or drive 5-10 miles. On a regular day where I'm not really hungry but know I should eat...mcdonald's or subway can do. Granted there are times where I actually want McDonalds and Subway.

That's because they're wasting the time they have.

Give time to someone who's actually constructive and any number of things could happen. Weight loss, better career, learning a language, learning an instrument, etc. Those new traits often equate to happiness and/or more money

Lol I must be slippin' because I've essentially had 20 years of retirement since high school and all I can fall in love with is long walks, the beach, trails, eating out, watching movies and the occasional woman

It certainly is a necessity - it is the necessary prerequisite for achieving "time". I mean, unless you're a tradie who manages his own homestead - but I certainly wouldn't call that having a lot of "time" - it's a hellish amount of work.

Like I said, depends on your living costs. If you can live on $50k/yr, which is very subpar, while only having to work 15 hours a week, you're a winner in my book.
