A couple beers with food per week? Don't sweat it at all.

I don't even see the point of having a couple of beers.

If I'm drinking I want to feel something - at least a moderate buzz.

As someone who drank gallons a week to not drinking at all I would say there really isnt a huge advantage of quitting.

Beer is good for you. A few isnt going to kill you, matter of fact it will make you healthier. srs

The junk food is vastly worse for you.

If it's just as you describe OP, meh. Having high fructose corn syrup regularly will do just as much if not more damage. Get to double digits drinks every week and it's a different story.

You save a couple bucks that can be spent on something else.

I think the biggest lies that are fed to people are those who experience depression, drink a lot because they're depressed, and then told that quitting drinking will help with their depression, anxiety, and mental health. It's easier for people (and doctors) to just conclude that a person's mental illness/struggles are due to alcohol as opposed to actually trying to find the route of the problem and the reason you began drinking in the first place.

Nothing wrong with having a nice imperial stout in your comfy chair by the fireplace on a snowy winter's eve with jazzy piano xmas music filling up the living room. Just don't let it get out of hand. Too much of a good thing, etc. Coming home and ripping through gutter trash like multiple buds after work because you have nothing to do is one thing. Enjoying a quality beverage once in a while is another.

I'd recommend you start brewing your own beer. I've been doing so for 10 years now and it really makes you appreciate the blend of chemistry and art involved in the entire process. You take alcohol more seriously, treat it with more respect, and really understand the passion committed brewers devote to the entire process.
