Holy ****. Think about that.
Like, if you ask the average 6 year-old at a beach what's going to happen to their sandcastle by tomorrow and why and they'll tell you, but you think your meme of a ROCK PICTURE makes you smarter than literally every expert organiztation. The level of water on a beach is somehow a constant by which you can measure a global fluctuation. I don't even have words to describe the abject stupidity. It's completely insane. It doesn't even make enough sense that it's on the level of wrong yet.
Have you shown the people in coastal plains like Bangladesh your rock? I'm sure it'd convince them what they're experiencing from climate change isn't real.
lol forever.

It's a hot night. The mind races. You think about your knife: the only friend who hasn't betrayed you, the only friend who won't be dead by sunup. Sleep tight mates, in your quilted chambray night shirts.

Because of all the extra crap involved in making an EV, you have to drive it for 70k miles before you offset the extra CO2 from it's manufacture when compared to an ICE vehicle.
People are replacing them after 50k miles and 3 years.
Those 3 year old EVs, which have done less than the 70k mile break even, sit at the dealership, as people aren't buying an EV with 50k miles on it when the battery has to be replaced after 100k miles or so.
The net result isgreaterCO2 and a massive problem of what to do with all these 3 year old cars that nobody wants to buy.

The battery in particular is a key failing point for the entire ecological argument behind them given the sourcing for raw materials to produce them and our current limitations of battery technology
Should anything go wrong with the battery, it's incredibly expensive to replace. For example, this story of a Finnish manwho decided to justblow uphis Tesla instead of paying the $22,600 it would cost to replace his battery:
You also have to appreciate the irony of blowing up a car where the main appeal is ostensibly for the environment.

Degradation can also be accelerated based on weather, which is another funny problem when high temperatures are precisely what the climate cult is freaking out about.
On the opposite end of the temperature spectrum, cold weatheris also a problem for EVs:
AAA tested the range effects of 20F degree weather on several popular EVs and found that temperature alone could reduce range by 10-12%, while the use of in-vehicle climate control could amplify range loss to 40%.
Then there is the famous incident when Top Gear/Grand Tour's Richard Hammond crashed a Rimac EV that took5 days to extinguishbecause of the battery. All together, EVs make for a very expensive, untenable cost for a significant number of people, and they will remain that way for the foreseeable future regardless of how many subsidies the government tries to put out because the costs will continue to greatly offset them.

The funny thing is that we could have a marked improvement on their dreaded "carbon footprint" by sending the elites into the sun, but then they wouldn't have anyone to take marching orders from. It's all rules for thee, not for me.

Obama literally threw a party with over five hundred people, and they didn't care. That Met Gala bull**** took place, where the "help" had to mask up, and the country still still had restrictions and they didn't care.....

"Report your neighbor if you see him using a propane grill!"
"Someone starts their combustion engine between the hours of 8am & 5pm? Call the police!"
But if it's a politician or business executive getting caught using their propane grill, or taking their classic car for a stroll, it's no big deal at all! That's the standard that these people have established when it comes to holding the aristocracy accountable. That is why there is no mirror movement within the Democratic Party to uproot corruption, they see no need for it. Sad.

Until you move off grid, stop driving cars, using the internet or using plastic containers for your tofu salads that come from your own garden, I really do not give a continental phuck what you think the rest of us need to be doing to solve the climate problem.

Again, it's exactly like covid: all of a sudden,we're"all in this together," even though they unabashedly hate everyone who doesn't agree with them 100% and openly won't to strip the rights away from those who don't fall in line.
A better idea is to draw a line in the sand and anyone who wants to stupidly throw away their time and money on the next round of BS can do so of their own volition, while everyone else goes on with their lives. Then we can come back later and compare who is and who isn't a bunch of miserable husks.
