Is it possible to gain muscle on high protein keto diet?

I'd say you are doomed to look like a twink if you eat keto diet all the time. Thoughts?

If you take a few months to adopt, can take 1.5 years, you’ll be fine.

Some people adopt better and faster than others thou. And some don’t seem to care what they eat, it all works the same for them.

Important to remember: people don’t do keto to be huge. They do keto to have stable energy, easy digestion, no hunger, good skin, love longer, they like fatty foods more than carbs etc.

I did notice I have better mental clarity on keto and my skin definitely improved. My gym performance was complete **** however.

That said, taking 1.5 years to adapt to keto sounds like the biggest broscience tbh.

If the cardio prevents me from building as much strength/muscle as I want, I can simply increase the dose. I won't reach my maximum muscle potential but as mentioned above, bodybuilding isn't my sport.

Anyway, the relevance is that keto is the same idea. It's not optimal for strength/muscle but that's ok given that you're not an IFBB bodybuilder.
Problem is I hate seeing myself get weaker in the gym

My physique drastically improved by doing Palumbo's keto diet for about 4 months. I was consuming about 300 grams of protein and around 130 grams of fat every day. 99% of the misc will say to just eat food and count macros, but majority dont look like they lift. (Super Ded fkn Srs)

Lost weight like crazy on high protein high fat diet.

I do crazy amounts of cardio though, so there is a period of time to get used to the energy conversion.

I couldn't stick with it because I love carb laden foods. Especially simple homemade bread and deserts. I bake weekly. It was also hard to get 200g and 3000cal of protein daily as I'm not a huge fan of protein drinks. I'll do them, but I get sick of them.
I'm not blessed with riches, but I am rich with blessings.

Were you able to improve or maintain your strength (squat bench deadlift) on low carb diet though?

Yup, no issue gymmaxxing. Strength gains remained solid. It was trying not to bonk on an endurance mountain bike ride of 2-3hours.

Since most of us ran on glucose for years or decades, it only makes sense that it might take some people a while for the body to learn to use ketones, and to become efficient at it, Peter Attia took 18 months until most of his performance restored.

Then you’d have to use electrolytes, and triple or quadruple the amount of whatever one serving is, remember, even Shawn Baker uses electrolytes, you’ll have to use creatine as well, all the well known keto people like Dom D’Agostino use it. And quite frankly you may need carb refeeds.

Also, the workouts themselves have to change a little bit, if you are on keto, you should avoid the mid rep range, do anything up to three or four reps on your primary heavy stuff, and then 15 to 25 reps on the light stuff, during keto mid rep range of 5 to 15 reps might be miserable for many people.

I started out on a standard keto diet for a few months, and then I transitioned to a high protein keto diet which I've been on the past couple months or so. I'm still making progress on building muscle and increasing strength, and I'm still losing bodyfat albeit not as quickly as before.

What's your bodyweight and what's your bench/squat/deadlift number?

There is no such diet called "high protein keto"

If you are doing low carb you are either on a keto diet or low carb / higher protein.

You probably will not be in ketosis if you are not consuming carbs yet high proteins.

Keto diet means your body is in ketosis which may not be the case for low carb
