But now I see that any dude without any college degree or even HIGH SCHOOL DEGREE can be a burger flipper and still live independently in his own apartment, has his own room with one suitemate and maintains a car and goes out and eats steak when he wants to. You can make $12/hr working retail somewhere, or $150k+ from a career. At the end of the day, in either scenario you still chit, eat, sleep, and work. The higher paying career would enable you to retire earlier, and afford better things and experiences.

Honestly, I've met so many people crying about how a small apartment rent is $1500 just because they literally heard some random thing from the media and I showed them actual apartment rental posts showing how they can live in a small apartment for $700/month (basically splitting a 2 bedroom place with 1 other person and only paying $700), they all realized they were brainwashed before until I saved them. The FACT is unless you're in the MOST EXPENSIVE city like NYC, LA etc etc, you can get a decent small apartment and only pay $700 to split a 2 bedroom place with 1 other person. I literally know a guy who's been my friend for years working at Walmart earning minimum wage and he got his own apartment and pays for all his car maintenance cost and living cost and he goes out to eat a lot and also travels to many places.

For native Koreans it is brutal. Super competitive, hard to succeed, bad debt / income ratios, etc. But to a guy on vacation with some money in his pocket, he gets the best of everything without having to deal with the grind.
