Has anybody here ever been to Rome. I want to go.

Thinking of eventually planning a trip there. St. Peter's Basilica looks amazing. And I just love the history of the city.

All roads lead there, so just find a road and keep walking and eventually you will arrive at Rome. No need to plan ahead.

Yes many times. BY FAR my favorite city but I love history.

The amount of splendor you will see... it's crazy. Check Villa Borghese.

Yes, a couple times. Probably spent 3 weeks there total and I would still probably go back. Food is the GOAT ( we did a food tour which I would recommend ) and tons to do there. Check out Florence/Tuscany as well, views are really nice and Florence is a awesome city

Yea I’ve been:

Pros:
1.Lots of History,

2.Women are gorgeous. Litterly see 10s everywhere ( far superior to land whale entitled US women)

3. Hot in summer.

CONS:
1.People are rude as hell. Will not move out the way for you at all. Especially when trying to
Get on and off public transport.

2. City is a dump ( Trash and graffiti everywhere )

2. To many immigrants.

3. Lots of annoying scammers at the historic sights like the colleseum.

Personally the only good thing about Rome in my opinion is the Women and the open historical
Stuff all around you.

You forgot to mention that it depends on the direction you're walking.......if I start in Germany and choose a road and head West I will not end up in Rome.Choose a road, orient yourself in the general direction of Rome, then start walking.

I think the world would agree they'd rather mimic Rome than Portland. Just saying.

I'll be there in 5 weeks, been several times before.

I'd suggest (and it may be a moot point rn) that you avoid the heat and the millions of tourists over the prime summer months. Even Italians are vacationing outside of Italy this summer due to the huge increase in the number of tourists.

But the history there is so very rich.

Hope you like standing around sack to crack with a million unwashed NPC's.

Also you pay for pizza by weight, for some reason.
