Fresh noodles, parm, half&half, butter and garlic. Little bit of roasted chicken leftover from the day before. Less than 10m to make.

Then why say you put Alfredo sauce on it (read title), but didn't put Alfredo sauce on it, because you don't like Alfredo sauce.

You made fettuccine & chicken.

alfredo sauce out of a can is trash

real alfredo is just butter, parmesan, and a little pasta water. Any monkey can make it, it all melts when you mix it with boiled pasta

Uh, no. Heavy cream, butter, parmesan cheese, and vermouth (optional) if you're cultured.

Adding butter to noodles doesn't make alfredo sauce. That's just butter and noodles.

That said, unless you want a broken sauce tomorrow I would build from a roux and add whole milk, half and half or heavy cream plus Parmesan. Other cheeses are an option too. Fontina. Hell you could use cream cheese.

LOL at your butter and parm Italian peasant alfredo.

Fettucine alfredo is only 4 ingredients and it looks like this when its done

It was love at first bite! Being a girl from Brazil, this was the closest to a mac and cheese that I had ever tasted. And I became obsessed with it ever since!
If you had 4 brain cells to rub together you would later find out that she explains authentic Italian allfredo sauce is only the 4 ingredients I mentioned and not whatever garbage you were talking about.

Try reading the whole thing but dont hurt yourself. This is easily fact-checked with a 2 second google search but you're ****ing retarded

Here let me spoon feed it to you dumb dumb
Fettuccine Alfredo is an Italian pasta dish of fresh fettuccine tossed with butter and parmesan (Italian: pasta al burro e parmigiano).[3][4][5] As the cheese melts, it emulsifies the liquids to form a smooth and rich cheese sauce coating the pasta.

So a basic alfredo sauce, congrats... but two things.

OP uses half&half, and it still looks nothing like the "original sauce" in the link. I don't see sauce at all.

The original sauce usesso much butterthat when the cheese melts, it's emulsified. You still have "sauce".

So it still stands, looks like he forgot the sauce.

There are different ways to make Alfredo. I'm not a fan of a heavy sauce so I prefer using half and half instead. This is one I've always used.

4 tablespoons of butter
3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
½ to 1 teaspoon of salt
2 cups half and half
1 cup finely grated fresh Parmesan cheese (plus more for serving optional)
8 oz. cooked fettuccine pasta noodles
dried parsley flakes (optional)
