12-year-old boy booted from class over Gadsden Flag, just lol

A video circulating on social media platform X, formerly Twitter, this week depicted a young elementary school student in Colorado Springs, Colorado being removed from class over having a Gadsden Flag patch on his backpack.

The clip appeared to be recorded by 12-year-old Jaiden’s mother as she, her son, and a school administrator discussed the boy being pulled from class at The Vanguard School that day because of the patch.

According to the staffer at the Colorado charter school, the patch was "disruptive to the classroom environment," as she claimed it has "origins with slavery."

I truly wonder if the leftists on this forum agree with the teacher purely out of ideological differences because they think its a "right wing" patch. Same idea as the left justifying the US flag is racist.

It seriously has to be mentally exhausting always analyzing irrelevant things like patches, etc.

We didnt know how good we had it. My teachers actually taught subjects, the only flag that mattered was the USA flag, disciplined children for actual disruptive behavior, women actually gave AF about themselves instead of posting asscrack pics for the world to see, etc.

Not to mention the rise of tech with cell phones/internet/gaming, etc.. was the golden age.

There's a lot of education that is missing. Basics of reading and math are falling by the wayside. All of the parents I know who also have kid(s) in elementary school say their kids hate school. Yes, ALL. That's quite a difference from just a couple of decades ago. Sure we all wanted summer vacation to play at will but a lot of us still liked school. Those days are over.

When I was in 3rd grade, I got in trouble for not doing the pledge of allegiance. I didn't understand why I was forced to pledge allegiance to a flag, so I refrained. The teachers spent more time scolding me about not doing it, than adequately explaining the significance of the flag andwhywe pledged allegiance to it. Once it was explained to me by my mom, who was smarter than most of those retarded public school elementary teachers tbf, it made sense, and I went back to business as usual.

It's hard to believe that not pledging allegiance to the flag could get you in trouble when I was a kid, to the stuff that's going on now.

Then again, I'm from SC, so maybe things are still the same here.
