My buddy Dale says that women aren't able to understand female beauty. Is this true?

We had this conversation after spotting a woman with pumped-up lips while out in public. Face full of makeup and swollen lips. Like a fish, fellas. She looked like a fish. I told Dale she must've gone to the salon and purchased the "instant whore" package. Looked like a common cooze, boys. She really did. Dale claims that women can only understand attractiveness through social status, so they'll imitate the appearance of women who they perceive as having high social status. If lip filler is what high status women are doing, then that's what women will think is physically attractive. Designer clothes, buttcheek implants, tattoos, stupid hairstyles....I think Dale might be right on this, although I haven't really thought too much about it. Do gals really lack the ability to understand physical beauty outside of cultural trend?

Most women have the belief that the more they do to themselves, the better they look. More makeup, more messing with their hair, more new clothes, and more plastic surgery/fillers.

My wife has naturally wavy hair, and I think that's her best look and tell her that regularly, but that doesn't stop her from getting it straightened every few months when she gets it cut.

They tend to focus more on details and are not looking at the same indicators of fertility that men do.

Not just youth & genetics. There are controllable factors as well. Weight, body proportion, diet, hygiene....Youth & genetics are completely outside of a gal's control, but a woman can still be 60 and be the best looking gal in her age bracket if she has spent her life taking care of herself physically. I think we're going on a bit of a tangent though. Dale's point was that he could go into Target on any given day and find dozens of gals who are more attractive than Kim Kardashian. But women, in general, wouldn't ever see an average gal as being more attractive than Kim Kardashian.

Makes sense. Considering that in a healthy civilization, high status men would not be allowing their women to make themselves uglier, it makes sense for them to imitate the high status women blindly.
