Organic local farmstead crew. Pickup next friday at a farm for all the raw dairy and grass fed grass finished meat.
It's really death by a million cuts. Little by little and within every aspect of life you are being taken over in ways that sound absurd. From the water you drink (tap water), to the food you eat, to the things you use in your every day life, to the toothpaste, to the 20+ sunscreens that were removed because they caused cancer, to frequencies, to cleaning products, etc.
All of those things isolated really aren't that bad and won't kill you, but all of those things together and constantly used on or body or eaten will eventually cause destruction of your health. That's why the US is chronically ill to the point of genuine insanity. Keep using your fluoride tooth paste, drinking your tap water, eating processed foods and low quality meats/vegetables, using chemical ridden products, etc. I mean even most pickles in the grocery store have polysorbate 80 in it. You're being attacked on all fronts and all it takes to defend against it is just leading a more natural life and drop some of the comforts in place of genuinely taking care of your own health.

The real issue is that it's just not fkkn sustainable for 99% of people to avoid all the chit. The best most people can do is getting a reverse osmosis filter for their water, avoiding obvious propaganda like sunscreens and antiperspirants, and trying to eat reasonably unprocessed foods. But that's probably like 1/4 of the issues.

My local store stopped carrying the organic packets though and my daughter CBA to deal with measuring out the bulk stuff.

Wouldn't be very practical to ship one that far. NZ seems to have some of the nicest tiny homes. Serious.
Doubt that I would get residency though.

have you ever tried to grow broccoli organically without pesticides? Its a nightmare. bugs will insert themselves in between the individual broccoli buds and they are impossible to remove even when you wash them.

The issue is that you are thinking my statements are entirely on one side of the spectrum, and your complaint my idea is entirely on the other.
The whole change of every single issue in society starts entirely in the roots of the individual. You cannot fix any problem on a macro level. So all you have to do is individually make better choices and start getting everything locally. I just found a new farm to get stuff from that is from IN and does weekly dropoffs at locations near me.
People have these things called yards that they can actually grow vegetables and fruits in. I have a small herb and vegetable garden in my parents backyard that I get my herbs from.
At this rate almost everyone in a city will eat either chit food or buy expensive organic food that has to be shipped in. That's their choice though to live in a city and live that way. The entire structure of societies could start flipping in one growing season if people just bought seeds and started growing their own vegetables, and start working with neighbors and trading what eachother has. All the polish people buy me have chickens in their backyards for fresh eggs and I don't think they're supposed to have them. No one cares though. All these small changes compound over time.
All I know is that I see a huge influx of people buying from local farmstands and local co-ops just from within the past 3 years. Until last week I could no longer find a farm that sold raw milk because it was always out of stock. I have to get it dropped off at a local farm now just to consume raw milk because even though it is banned in IL, the demand has skyrocketed. The tide is turning little by little and that's how it starts.

1. HOAs don't like it when people use their front yards as gardens.
2. Our population was a half of its current size 60 years ago. So the demand for produce meat and dairy wasn't as high.
3. Due to the rising cost of housing, people are not able to buy homes to have gardens. The majority under the age of 45 will rent apartments their entire lives. They won't have a backyard or any considerable space for a garden.
4. If everything goes back to being organic you have to contend with th le onslaught of pests and critters found in food and that's not something this current generation of young people are use to. They're use to perfectly sterile fruits and veggies. Also, some insects are vectors for disease. All it takes for someone to get sick and die because of a roach that was eating a purchased food product, and they'll deeply reconsider pesticides.
5. Growing everything organically will make everything more expensive. Yes, that is how our parents bought food, but their dollar also went much further than it does today.

I buy all of my veggies from one house. So does my whole town if they go that route. Now spread that around to several people producing in small gardens.
Gardens have a slight initial cost, but are basically free moving forward. When talking about food and meat consumption, most of that falls completely on grocery stores and restaurants. Do you realize how much food is thrown away and wasted? My dad managed grocery stores for decades and it is some of the most mind blowing chit you will ever see. That is almost entirely eliminated when you start localizing food production and would greatly decrease the amount of food needed to grow or get from meat animals.
You realize there are organic ways of treating crops, correct? Any big issue I have had I just used some neem oil and haven't had any issues. There are entire youtube channels and books dedicated in how to grow food in your climate zone. The entire invention of things like mosanto, gmo and all of these chemical sprays were to kill pests in giant farms. That's why they pasteurize milk too. It has nothing to do with health or even the health of the crop. It is entirely a way to ensure the crop survives to maximize profits.
People vastly overestimate how hard it is to garden. It's literally one of the easiest things you can do. Do you live in a city? I live 45 min away from chicago and half the people around here have gardens. I have sheep herders all around me even. It sounds like you've never been outside of a city or apartment complex. Anyone can go to a local nursery and buy herb plants that are already 30 days + grown and put them in pots they can maintain. Most herbs you plant one single time and they will come back forever. I have chives in my parents backyard that are 52 years old from the same plant that regrow every year.
Want infinite potatoes? Buy a potato bag, get some organic potatos and plant them in the dirt. Wait 4 months and you'll have a giant crop of potatoes.
I can type for hours on this stuff, but the entire issue stems from two things. People are lazy. People don't have a community. Those two things are what destroys society. There's an orthodox church kind of near me that literally has it's own full garden and chicken coop. People need to stop viewing food as entirely a business. It's a communal necessity and it's extremely rewarding. There's a reason why our entire culture is against community togetherness and being part of a high trust community.
