Indeed, uncle Dana has shown time and time again he says one thing and does another. I wouldn't be one bit surprised if some comments were made but more realistically speaking, Gane just wasn't a worthy opponent to the GOAT. I think he got exposed as having no ground game. Polar Bear by sub.

That's true but it was more so the fact he lunged in and did nothing to defend the headlock. It wasn't some beautiful khabib type offense Gane just did everything wrong

I bet on Jones and my friend asked me why before the fight. Well, I said, Dana needs Jones to win, after Ngannou walked out the best possible case for Dana is Jones wins here, Gane winning would have been a disaster for UFC.

I'm not saying that Gane took a dive or that I thought he was going to, but the politics often effects combat sports a lot, fighters have talked about it, being put in hotels next to a construction site going off all night, connections being delayed, dodgy food etc, the judges and referee being wined and dined and getting first class flights and 5 star hotels if they keep the boss happy.

These are all things that can happen without even talking about bribe money going around, and we aren't privvy to most of it. In competetive fights that **** can make the difference.

It makes sense, Ngannou dominated Gane, if Gane beats Jones, you clearly don't have the best heavyweight, Ufc hates that ****, I'm starting to think the whole thing is rigged, who was the last person to win a fight that the UFC definitely didn't want to win? Srs question?

These guys don't spend years of their lives slugging it in the gym 5-6 days per week learning and training to compete and achieve at an international level in multiple displines, representing their gyms, teams and countries on an international level just to all of a sudden start playing actor once they hit UFC. Get real.

Orrrrrrrr, the GOAT fighter did some GOAT chit and had the perfect gameplan to expose the glaring weakness of a mentally fragile inexperienced MMA fighter in a VERY shallow division.

Also, for all Dana's faults, there is ZERO chance he would risk the UFC to fix that fight (or any fight). On a personal financial level, he would surely lose the money he got from the UFC / Zuffa sales to WME and then Endeavor. The risk vs. reward simply isnt there.

Endeavor is big boy business, and Jon Jones is fighter openly on the tail end of his career. Why would they risk their entire MMA promotion for some vacant title fight? Again, the risk vs. reward isnt there.

I am not saying fight fixing doesn't happen, but I am saying it is not done at the Dana White level, and especially not done at the Endeavor level. When it is done, its done more by coaches / camps level, and the sports betting almost always gives it away.

Gane got exposed by Ngannou for lacking wrestling/defence

Jones capitalized on it by timing it perfectly. It's what happens when you put a world-class wrestler against a novice.
