90's movies were the best man

Take a movie like "Getting even with dad". It's not one you'll refer to as memorable, the story wasn't very ambitious and it was predictable. Maybe you don't even remember it at all, but it was a great movie. The actors and directors nailed every angle of it. You really felt for the kid at the end and were rooting for the outcome you knew was coming.

Pretty much all good 90s movies had this type of appeal. You liked the characters and the actors who portrayed them. They were movies you will watch from start to finish several times just because it was on TV.

The Professional, the Fifth Element, Kids, The Crow, Judge Dredd, Nightmare Before Christmas, Pulp Fiction, Natural Born Killers.

The list is pretty big.
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.
